How did the Cubs do today after their 19-5 win last night? ;D How are the Cubs 2-4 at home against the Brewers?

Egors is one of the shops the wife likes to go to. ;D

Don't worry yours will be renamed soon enough. Maybe Bareback park or something along those lines. 19 runs doesn't compare to a ring within the past 100 years! LOL ;D The atmosphere around Wrigley is fine, again it is a big beer garden and a party around. The ball park itself is a dump, there is no parking and EVERY year they find a new and exciting way to fail! One year it is the Goat, then Bartman, what's it going to be this year? I say some fool in the crowd named Osama! LOL BTW I do get to the Belmont and Sheffield area every now and then. There is a little place called Philly's Best where I can get a some what decent Cheese Steak. Then there are a couple shops around there that are fun to go to.

I'm going to blame it on Prane's avatar ;D What, you didn't know that avatar was made at a Cubs game? That is what they do there, they don't watch the ball game. Just like that Miller High Life commercial, that was shot at Wrigley too. Wrigley field is just a big beer garden and meat market. With it being in the middle of Boy's town the pun WAS intended. Shane if you aren't a cubs fan and arent from around here how do you know about boys town? Us cubs fans can't help the fact that we have a huge fanbase and the greatest ballpark in the country. So of course we have the best looking fans. I grew up in Northern IL and EVERYONE knows where Boys town is in Chicago. I think they even have signs on the Interstate saying Boys Town/Wrigley Field next exit. I am a White Sox fan and ACCORDING to a recent report your ball park isn't the greatest, it is 15th where as Comiskey is 8th.

Keep it up. They will keep losing and they will make you another excuse as to why the Cubs didn't win the World Series AGAIN! LOL ;D

PSN servers are independent from the game servers. Who knows who is hosting the actual game servers for GTA. As far as the game goes I am still getting use to the controls. Driving is a little sluggish and then over tight when it comes to the hand brake. Hard to explain I guess. Graphics are nice but there are times it is hard to see what is ahead of you when driving, camera issue more then not. I have only found one prostitute and when she was suppose to get in the car she stopped and never got in. I found the strip club, OF COURSE, pretty quick and after a so so lap dance I shot the place up with a shotty and took a few cops out when I got outside. I guess the lap dance wasn't good enough. LOL I don't like the auto aim, I wish you could just use your cross hairs a little more freely. Possible Spoiler. You know the girlfriend is going to be an undercover cop.

Student suspended for answering a call from his father in Iraq
SHANE23 replied to BIGDANIEL's topic in Playstation
Don't get me wrong, I feel for the kid and his father but if you make one exception then everyone wants it too. Where do you draw the line? My dad served in Vietnam, was that any different? I didn't get special treatment, not that we had cell phones, but I wasn't given time to read a letter in class or anything. Times have changed and instead of having thousands of different rules they make a blanket one and no one is above it. Is it right or wrong? Who knows but bottom line is the school followed that rule. And as far as the other occupations. His dad is in Iraq for 2,3 or 4 years? These others have 20-30 years day in day out? I know it is not apples to apples but you should get the idea. BTW - in a case like this why couldn't the kid gone to the office and said - "My dad is in Iraq and is going to call me, can I have a note or permission to take the call?" If they set something up with everyone knowing it could have saved a lot of hassles too. -

If your dad was in Iraq, and you had an opportunity to talk to him, what lengths would you go to? This is bullshit, regardless how you slice it. The teachers involved should have given the child not only the time, but a private setting to hold the convo. There is a chance that child may never see his father again, and at what level is it worth it to deny him that opportunity? I don't know about you, but I would feel like one large ass if I was the teacher of this boy and his father didn't make it out of combat alive. Both my 12 ad 14 yr old daughters have cell phones. The older one HAS abused the privelidge at school, but instead of just taking it away, we turned her into the school principal. They have them because between Orchestra, Ballet, and cheerleading they lead very active after school lives. And I want them to have the ability to notify authorities in situations where they are in danger. Lets face it, we don't live in the same time and place we used to. Ok so who justifies who can talk to who? I understand he is in Iraq but where does it end? The kid shouldn't have even had his cell phone with him let alone on in the classroom! With the way people in this country are now I can easily imagine someone suing because they did or didn't get to use the phone. The teacher did the right thing by following rules. They created the rule and the teacher followed it if he/she didn't there would be a precedence and everyone and anyone who had a cell would be able to keep it on and active because one person was allowed. Now if it was that important, the father should have called the school, the office should have called the kid down to the office and let them talk there. Just like it was back before Cell phones. Problem solved. Think about this too. What about EVERY kid that has a cop as a parent has the same risk everyday that they may never see their parent again. Are you going to let ALL of them have cells in class too? Or how about airline pilots, firefighters or any other dangerous job, what about them? -

This is a touchy subject. I guess part of me wants to say the kid should be able to talk to his father, special circumstances. BUT those rules are there for a reason and who is to choose who has the ability to bend those rules? I can see it now, but he got to use his phone to talk to his dad why can't I use my phone? Then here come the law suits, I am suing for $10mm because they wouldn't let me use my phone because I am female and they let the white male use his. As far as kids with cell phones. If you are in high school and have extracurricular activities and need rides after school I can justify to a point. BUT during the school day they should not be available! Jr high and elementary students shouldn't have them, there is no need at all. -
FLYERS!!! ;D But without Gagne and Knuble we are in trouble! I hope Ovechkin dives AGAIN and doesn't get up, he is starting to act more like a girl then Cindy Crosby! OR anybody BUT DETROIT OR PITT!!! The only team worse then those two is Toronto!

I use to post there on a regular basis but after Socom 3 and all the cheating and crap I just stayed away as well as focusing more on the PSN and PS3 sections. I think it is funny too that most are under 18.

IMHO that whole closed beta selection crap is a JOKE! If you have ever been on those forums and know any of the posters there are SEVERAL that are KNOWN cheaters and are now acting like they are perfect and should be chosen for the beta. IT is also a BUNCH of nobody's nominating each other because they just want to be the first. The have also created lists on what they should test thinking that will help their cause. I sent an IM to Abigale saying that she should look at UF and talk to the creators/leaders here on WHY we are not involved with Game Battles and why Game Battles would not be a good choice for beta selection.

Why don't you do something like this for a real sport like the NHL? ;D

I am pretty sure that is what happened. I have heard a lot of MLB players are going with ASH now. I guess it is one of the cheaper ones and gets good pop like the maple without the shattering like maple.

My company has certain positions that require several programs open at the same time. I gave them two suggestions, one was to purchase 22" monitors, such as that one, and rotate it 90Deg or 2 19" Wide screens side by side. We ran some tests and found that running the 2 wide screens side by side were more productive. I still want a 22" flat screen for me though.

Lemme apologize for Shane. Sometimes he likes to bite the hand that feeds him. I agree with the decision 100%. Especially considering Sony's track record. Had the matches not been cancelled, then Sony would have had a problem and the whole psn would've been down. Well using tge PS2 as a reference I would agree. BUT seeing that with the PS3 and PSN; when they have said the site will be down for maintenance and the PSN will still be up they have been spot on. This is with Sony, I am not talking about IW and/or Demonware or any other developer. With the PSN Sony has been right on the money with their calls and this has been since launch. And you shouldn't apologize for me. I said nothing wrong, what I said was my opinion.

What is done is done but I would tend to agree that if read properly postponement was not needed. It is kind of like canceling a game in NY because it is raining in Cleveland. The store and PSN are two different entities and it did clearly say the PSN would still be up.

That is some awesome shit! My neighbor is a retired Air Force pilot and Air Traffic controller from O'Hare. He has a private plane and took me and my family up for some stunts. He is amazing, I don't think I have ever had so much fun from a thrill ride. -

Kate Beckinsale vs Linda Carter Kate Beckinsale Could have used a better picture of Kate though 05. Paris Hilton vs Farrah Fawcett Farrah Fawcett Paris doesn't belong in this. Megan Fox would have made it more interesting.
