Who needs a trailer? There was gameplay at E3 -
I actually think FPS fans will like this. It's objective-based with each platoon having different objectives, but it still has that run and gun feel to it. It's very easy to see how they will get a huge base of fans to play this. I think that it might be strictly respawn (or at least predominantly) with a time limit. It's just way too big of a game for it to be one death and you're gone. With the amount of players, the first guy to die can go watch a movie and come back before its over

So far. Remember, they were playing with 256 people that they obviously knew and probably worked for Zipper. It's going to be a lot different in public servers. Definitely looked good though. Stole some ideas from CoD (UAV and Airstrikes). They pretty much break it down into four battles of 32v32. Looked good.

Because it was one of the first games announced for the PS3 and still has never been given a date? And why would they announce it on the floor? It's one of their biggest games and always has been, and they don't announce it at the presentation? Yeah, right.

Dude, they DIDN'T announce GT5. They showed a "Sneak Peak" trailer, but never announced ANYTHING. They announced Gran Turismo Go for the PSP. GT5 still hasn't been given a release date and probably never will.

They had a closed-doors display of Natal going and IGN was let in. If you read up on Natal, they tell you that they were able to play Burnout using Natal. Steer with your hands as if you had a steering wheel, move your foot down and up to accelerate/brake, move your fist as if you were shifting gears to activate turbo boost. They said it was absolutely amazing in the private room

It was all confirmed through a leaked video is what I'm saying. LBP and Assassins Creed were known to come out, but the leaked Qore video announced Metal Gear Solid for PSP.

There's nothing that is going to top Natal. Seriously.. there's no way that anything can top that. Even if Sony does announce a MGS that's NOT for the PSP, it will cancel out the MGS's (but that will still be bigger news for MS because they stole the exclusive).

How was it lame? That was probably one of the best MS conferences in recent years. Halo 3 ODST, Forza 3, Alan Wake, Crackdown 2, Left 4 Dead 2 are all big exclusive games. All the new features coming to the xbox 360, too.. There is almost no way in hell Sony could top that performance

The reason Roy Halladay would win have a chance at winning the Cy Young over Greinke is simply because of their divisions. It's not a secret that the AL East is a lot more competitive and a lot harder than the AL Central. Either way, I'm voting for man love BTW: Why is Jered Weaver an option? Sure he has the third lowest ERA in the AL but I don't think he'll be in Cy Young talks. If anything, I think Verlander will end up being one of the top pitchers in the AL by the end of the season because of his resurgence.

I have one of those babies that I use for school. It's just awesome for the fact that there's no need to carry around a heavy laptop or anything when you got the small little Acer that does everything the same, and does it very efficiently. The only thing I can complain about with mine is the actual mouse buttons. It looks like yours are under the mouse touchpad, but the one I have, the buttons are on the left and right of the actual touchpad. It's a little weird to get used to and annoying but it doesn't take anything away from it. I got mine on sale right before black friday on tigerdirect.com. Got it for like 150 or something of that sort. Acer makes some badass little notebooks. I've had no problems with it at all. BTW: Love the background Xanthe. Megan fox FTW!

But then you're forgetting about the 15' date='000 people who play Confrontation every night, along with the thousands that play Socom 2 and Combined Assault still (whether it's because they hate PS3 or just can't afford it). But Socom isn't the only example. There are tens of thousands of people that play Metal Gear Online daily and it's just like Socom in it's pace. It's a very slow paced game and I have played with people that were EXTREMELY tactical, even more than Socom players. Yes, the majority of players DO play fast paced games, run and gun style, but it doesn't mean that it's the end of the "slow paced camping era". I've played with people on COD that sit back, camp, play tactically and take their time. Just because COD is game where you run out and kill everyone doesn't mean people don't play it slow. I don't think the "slow paced camping era" is done in anyway. Maybe you just don't happen to come across the players I'm talking about, but there are tons of people in EVERY online game that take things slow. It doesn't matter if it's the fastest paced shooter in the world.. there is always that base of people that will slow things down. This is why I don't think Socom will die. It doesn't have the support that it used to, I'll admit that. People have grown to hate the game without ever looking at the positives of the game. It has gotten drastically better than it was in the Beta, but people are too stupid to realize it. Socom is a franchise that will forever have those 15,000 people who will get on daily, despite all it's issues and problems. BTW: I didn't read anyone's post in this thread because they're all too long.. I just saw the yellow that Malu put and it caught my attention
