I think they're overdoing it on giving the white camo a use. Sure, a few snow maps are fine, but come on. Give the game some damn color. This game has great graphics, but is so bland and boring to look at because it has like 3 basic colors. Give us some green! The name does own though.. completely..

True, but for those that have followed the series from the beginning, it still is a PS3 exclusive. Most people will continue to consider the new branch off involving Raiden as a separate series, and they have the right to, in a way. I absolutely love MGS and it's my favorite franchise ever, but I don't consider this game to be part of the real MGS series. It may have its twists and everything may tie in to the series that already exists, but playing completely as Raiden (predictably Cyborg Ninja Raiden) is more Ninja Gaiden to me. Then again, Kojima is a God and he might shut me up.

We essentially use private/party chat EVERY TIME we play online. I don't remember the last time I've even done game chat. Being able to chat with up to 7 other people, at anytime you want, no matter what you're doing on xbox live is huge. I guarantee that any xbox person uses it like 95% of the time.

Last night we established that you were dead to us ;D Chili and I were having the usual problems between his xbox and mine, so he had to wait to play with everyone. It's awesome though.. just what you would expect. Cars are amazing, the scenery looks absolutely ridiculous (You can actually make out each individual tree in Nurburgring and Maple Valley now). The game feels a lot faster. R1's are damn near impossible to control (Unless you're Johnson, who happens to drive like an AI opponent). Multi lobbies take a bit of getting used to. It's a bit of a different system, but it definitely does work. Choosing car is a lot easier, now you can talk through loading screens with each other. It's just pretty badass. I haven't done Career yet, which I might start today or tomorrow. Get the damn game! Trade in stuff like Chili and I did. It's worth it. PS. Bugatti=God

It's DEFINITELY worth it. Like Cp said, when they announce an update, IT COMES OUT ON TIME, because you're paying for the service. The amount of exclusive stuff that you get on xbox live is a lot more than you get on psn. But aside from the extra content, it's worth it for the gaming experience alone. By paying those 50 bucks a year, you essentially never have to worry about having shitty servers. Cheaters and rankups are taken care of for the most part, you can play for an entire day and not experience a laggy game at all. Unless you sit down and play xbox for an extended period of time, you'll never agree with the pay to play and never understand where us xboxers are coming from.

Some teams ended up being COMPLETE busts this year, which is disappointing (along with some players). I got most of the picks right, except the Indians, Cubbies, and Mets.

Just be careful when picking up 7.. it may be a great game, but it's so old that it may not hold the same appeal after playing next gen for so long. It'll look like tetris compared to what we have now

im seriously looking into getting this to replace oblivion hows the weapon selection and armor selection and are there any diff races and as far as the online i heard there was like notes from other players and stuff can you confirm any of this for me? I don't have the game, but I do know about online. When connected to PSN, you can leave notes for other players/read notes left by other players. They can essentially tell you how hard an upcoming part is, if there's treasures ahead, or they can just trick you and make you run straight into a trap. There's also MMO elements where you can connect online and go into a boss fight with help. Instead of having to go up against a boss that may be too much for you alone, you guys can team up and defeat the boss together. Then you can also go online into PvP. With this, you're pretty much put into another players world and your objective is to kill him. You have to go find him in the level and then go 1 on 1 with him, however since you're technically an enemy in his world, you can lure him to the actual enemies within the level and ambush him. It's all AI enemies + you vs him. If you are able to kill him, you can take all the souls he's collected for yourself. In order to go online you need certain stones that I think you get from killing the 1st boss. As far as classes, I believe there are 10 classes. Knight, Priest, Thief, Magician, Temple Knight, Soldier, Wanderer, Hunter, Barbarian, Royal. Technically, these aren't "classes". What they do is give you starting stats that lean towards that class. If you start off as X class, you will have stats that will make it easier for you to use that class, but you can upgrade your other stats, essentially changing what your class is. (I've researched a lot about this game and have watched a friend play this for a long time) I'm not so sure about weapons and armor, because my friend really didn't do much except use the long dragon sword. And also, the highest level you can reach is 712.

I've been contemplating getting this because I've heard nothing but great things, not to mention I love RPGs (especially challenging ones), however I'm gonna be buying the Fallout 3 GOTY edition, so this will have to wait.
