Ive been so bored with COD that I am actually doing the prestige mode and I got to say it sucks when you get team killed or have idiots on your team but it got me back into playing COD a lot more lol.

Oh yeah, you're not a POW anymore. we wish. he aint been the same since we got him back. he a little...soft. amd mets, just an idea for you, some of our recruiters have a second account just for playing with recriuts. that way, they can try em out without getting blasted by invites all night long. Hey a lot of members of the community have been sending me invites just wanted to say sorry for not accepting them. Myself and my team from Hollow Ground have been evaluating a lot of new recruits playing in public lobbies. Don't want to come to a party with a new recruit and have them disrespect you guys! A lot of these guys seem great when you get an application from them but they turn out to be loud mouths that disrespect other members and players on the opposing side. Take care guys!.. While it seems like every time the PlayStation 3 undergoes a firmware upgrade is plagued by people trying to blame broken systems on the update, last night's 2.40 update seems to have caused genuine issues with many posters over at the official PlayStation forums. Owners of PS3s in all shapes and sizes have been reporting that their systems were loading to the initial PlayStation wave screen and simply hanging there after applying 2.40. No icons, no controller functions, no nothing, just the wave across the middle of the screen. There doesn't seem to be any real pattern as to which systems are affected. 60GB, 40GB, 20GB, and 80GB systems alike have all been afflicted with the issue. We've contacted Sony for word on the issue, but in the meantime several of the more tech savvy forum posters have determined how to fix the issue, if you're willing to yank out your console's hard disk drive. Users found that removing and reformatting their PS3 hard drive and then reinserting it into the console would get the system to boot completely, after which it asks to reformat the disk again and everything runs normally. Of course they lose all of their saved games and have to redo all of their downloads, but I suppose that is better than sending in the system for a $150.00 repair. One can only assume that the update was the catalyst that caused certain data on affected hard disks to become corrupt, rendering the system unbootable. It would certainly explain why only certain systems are being affected, and why Sony couldn't have caught the problem in the first place. We'll keep you updated on the issue as we learn more. lol well placed and you prolly didnt even mean to. Yea im level 2 in a few things and working towards master. I want to get to level 3 of CQC so I can slit throats. then I probably wont even use guns lol hell yeah... I dont last more then 3 seconds lol.. I get chocked and slammed on the group... man I run into people with no weapons out all the time, and I get owned every time, since their freakin cqc is so nice..

When.? I never see you. I think i actually took you off my friends list because it was so long since the last time you were on. lol I am a little skeptical myself, but ultimately they will do what they are gonna do, & we'll play it. How long it lasts or how big it gets is what is up in the air.. NOTHING will stop the Shooter genre from getting bigger & better.! Socom may not be the shooter game of the future.. but it will always be what started it.! (for most of us) PS. thanks Irish I usually play at my friends place. If I am at home I usually play without my ethernet cord plugged in. I am actually beta testing End War now.

I wonder if Socom is going to lose a lot of fans? I am a hardcore socomer. But since socom keeps getting pushed backed ive played tons of games on 360 and also ps3. Most notably COD4. Never played COD before this now loving it. All the games ive played were next generation games. Socom has their graphics updated but game play looks exactly the same. SOcom has a lot of hardcore gamers but nothing ever to match halo or COD fan base. If it keeps making games that are like the old one they are either gonna lose fans because they keep delaying it or lose fans as they keep getting older. Socom and playstation is what brought me to online gaming and being in a clan and what not. I want them to be number 1 but the more information I get the more scared I am about this series faultering. I am keeping the hope though! Especially after XBOX is going to release clan support for most games late 2009... Also most ps3 games will have in game tournaments and clan ladders like old socoms. SPread the word of UF guys!!

Sorry, but that leaves the forum a little open for some "questionable" offerings at times. We still monitor what gets posted here and, if they're links, it's not as urgent fur us to get to it as if it were blaring right on your screen right here on the forums. We still have the occasional community member who likes to push the limits of what we consider decent here and, as always, we want the forum to be viewable ANYWHERE you happen to be. LOL that was great. Very smart to do, just like in our forums, every once in a while, someone posts something unproper (2Girls1Cup for example) and we have to keep a close eye on that.
