  1. too big.
  2. Correct. Black IV will end before any UF5 Tacmap installment.
  3. Oh, I don't know.....what I said was very focused and innocent. You observed it on a gay angle.....which in this case, SHOULD say more about you getting peaked on reading it than me saying it.
  4. I've always wanted to be GANGSTUH. But my ethnicity would just end up putting me in a TRIAD....and I don't want to ACTUALLY be scary to all my friends. GANGSTUHS are funny.....but TRIAD is just plain fucked up scary. LOL
  5. It's funny when people speculate.
  6. The rules are up for The UF Crucible and the SCREEN SHOTS for how each match is to be set up will be up this weekend. I can say this now.....whether or not HARDCORE is going to be an option in The Crucible....well, both the Crucible and the CoD4 TACMAP tourney are going to be set up VERY differently. Remember, Crucible is just an evaluation tourney. The TACMAP tourneys have ALWAYS been the tougher battles.
  7. I've heard about the golden guns in this game at a certain level or what not.....but I would ask WHY? It would seem that they would be useless camo in an actual game.....doesn't gold kinda STAND OUT?
  8. WAY TO GO to BOTH teams, and congratulations to the S!K clan! Streetsweeper, you and your boys now have an automatic invite waiting for you for the next UF-Socom Tacmap tourney in 2008. ALSO, I need you, Street, to PM me the name you wish to give to one of the AOs of the next Tacmap tourney, as that was the other half of your championship prize. Thanks to ALL clans for another successful Black tourney!
  9. Ummmmm......the rules ARE up, guys.
  10. zeal·ot /ˈzɛlət/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[zel-uht] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation –noun 1. a person who shows zeal. 2. an excessively zealous person; fanatic. 3. (initial capital letter) a member of a radical, warlike, ardently patriotic group of Jews in Judea, particularly prominent from a.d. 69 to 81, advocating the violent overthrow of Roman rule and vigorously resisting the efforts of the Romans and their supporters to heathenize the Jews. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [Origin: 1530–40; earlier zelote < LL zélōtés < Gk zéltés, equiv. to zélō- (var. s. of zéloûn to be zealous; see zeal) + -tés agent suffix]
  11. WOW......lol You guys are tough.
  12. Oh, dat li'l white boy wuz NEKKID.
  13. It's just called "discipline." Clans tend to need this when involved in UF..... If you don't have it, you either won't last long, or the length of your stay won't be an entirely enjoyable one.
  14. Someone give this smarty-pants a cookie. ;D
  15. You're going to force me to go home and look in my closet and under my bed now......just in case.
  16. He probably played online shooters.
  17. Don't be rude now. Sure. (and I DO sleep...eventually) I've had a few people talk to me about this, and I guess I've never really thought much of it. Main income is project managing the construction of buildings in/around Chicago. I teach Scripting & Storytelling for Video Game Design at an institute downtown. I try and get to the gym 3-5 times a week after work. I run APC and have been for 5 years now all through the day and night. Hopefully my guys would say I do that well.  I co-run UF and all of the tourney's creations with Sniper all through the day and night. I'm an independent contractor-for-hire for text-creation on new website design. I'm currently writing a series of children's horror short-stories set here in Chicago. I play on no less than 2 teams for volleyball in the evenings, as volleyball is one of my passions. I am living alone, actually, no live-in family except my little baby kitten Stitch. We handle each other well. A LOT of that, Apoc, I think stems from the fact that I have religiously gotten an average of about 5-6 hours of sleep a night for the last 5-7 years of my life. With 18-19 disposable hours available in the day, you'd be SURPRISED what you can get done. I know a lot of my friends and such say they NEED their 8-9 hours a night, and I can understand that. Actually, I'm TRYING to scale back my awake time and increase my nightly sleep time to about 7-hours average. It's just too much of a shock to my system to try and get a full 8 hours just yet. My body doesn't allow it, and I always wake up a lot earlier than 8 hours. Typically it can be unhealthy to get so little sleep, but I try to eat very well and keep my body going with gym time and an active sports lifestyle to help offset that. Nothing really offsets sleep, but I think the healthy things I do in life HELP me a lot and I would probably be a MUCH different person if I were to sleep so little AND do so little actively. But hey, Apoc, thanks for noticing the effort. I don't try to do so much for the accolades or anything, as I really don't think there's much accolades associated with the things I do.....but EVERYTHING I do in my life right now I really enjoy, from the teaching to the volleyball to the gaming and tournament-design. I love it all. I couldn't do so much if I hated any of it. So thanks again! (and yes....I am just one person....LOL. That title was a little strange to read the first time LOL) - TOW
  18. Both BLACK and the CRUCIBLE are "evaluation" tourneys for Socom and CoD4 tacmap tourneys, respectively. By "evaluation," we're not gauging your skill, per se, but rather your ability to conduct yourselves in the midst of all the other fine clans of this UF Community. Â And as plain as it can be, 4-weeks spent in Black or Crucible trying to handle a less-than-desirable clan is MUCH easier on the head for UF Staff and UF Community players than it is to handle that same clan for 12-weeks in a TACMAP tourney. Hence..."evaluation." And BECAUSE this tournament evironment is "invitation-only," which quite a few people who come to UF like and want, it does run the risk of excluding clans sometimes. Â Tacmap tourneys generally house more clans for a tour. Â Typically over 20+. Â It's UF's way of controlling the quality of clans found here gaming in our Community which, ultimately, means that YOU'RE getting the best environment for honest, respectful play than you can find anywhere else. With our current hike in drafting more UF Staff for the tournament site, it also means that we're able to keep a better rotation for constant Black and Crucible mini-tourneys rolling, so that if you DO miss an invite to a tacmap tourney, you will still get some UF-quality tournament play in anyway. And UF is always cognizant of trying to get EVERYONE a roll in a tacmap tourney, as we all kind of lovingly refer to as "the Big Game." Â SO I wouldn't put too much worry into it. The best thing a clan can do in this Community if hoping to get accepted into a Tacmap tourney for either Socom or CoD4 is to enter into one of the evaluation tourneys and play it up with honor, dignity and respect. Â Some get that, some don't. Â The ones that do will find a long and enduring home here in UF. The ones that don't quickly find the door back to the other tourney sites that better cater to their brash and sometimes-childish behavior. Thus far, with the opinions we receive from those in the UF Community, we know we're doing something right. Â Now what we're attempting to do is do that "something right" with more of a rotation aspect so that there is ALWAYS action going on here for as many clans as possible. Â What we DON'T want is to get TOO big TOO fast. Â "Quality" has always been our #1 focus.
  19. Just a random thing.
  20. You will know you finished it when the game starts ALL over again....when the head recomposes itself to normal. Otherwise, youhave to figure it out. THAT'S the challenge, to do it without help.
  21. The rule states it quite clearly.... Players on your roster MUST share the same clan tag. No tag, no play. This ALSO helps us in circumventing some people/players out there to quickly make new names or "alternate" names for whatever reason. So again, the rule states it clearly.
  22. LOL....have at it, Snake Doctor! And by the way, welcome to the UF forum and I LOVE 'The Unit'.
  23. There IS an end to it. The trick is figuring it out in how to get there. My students showed this to me.
  24. Typically, I would say this was out of line. Funny thing is....I read that post about 30 minutes ago and felt the same way.....just got tired of giving Junk the subtle hint and him not getting it at all. But hey.....he's enjoying his tv and his crown and his throne. Little does he know (evidently after continuously trying to guide this guy) that he's pretty much enjoying it on his own, because with every post, he is limiting the chances for the rest of his team (who WON him that tv, btw) to participate in any further tourneys here. I guess this will just be an ongoing life lesson for Junk in humility.
