The official UF rules for the upcoming CoD4 tourney, The UF Crucible, are now posted on the forum in the new CoD4 tourney section. Sign ups will still open this Sunday, the 9th.

The stage is set for the championship match between [s!K] and [g.V] to determine just who will be declared the UF: Black III champion! With SiK beating out COU tonight, and g.V overtaking 101, these two will meet this Thursday night to determine the last clan standing after six weeks of UF Black III action! Best of luck to BOTH teams on Thursday and may the best clan win it all. And up for grabs? Besides being crowned champions, the winning clan will earn themselves an automatic invite into the next installment of the UF Socom Tacmap tourney, essentially the fifth tour of UF. Besides that invite, the winning clan's leader will be able to create a name for one of the AOs in which wars will be fought on throughout UF5, much like we all saw for 12 weeks in UF4: PoW. So good luck, again, to the both of you. There were some tough clans you had to break through in order to get here...so make every bullet count! - TOW

Ravens were IDIOTS in that final drive. A stupid time out when they HAD the stop! Penalties like you wouldn't believe. This Scott guy who racks up THIRTY yards in penalties because he thinks he's important enough to throw a 3rd grade hissy fit with the Ref's flag. How OLD is this guy?? He ruined ANY chance of a good kick return for MUCH needed field position. And then using the MIDDLE of the field instead of the sidelines, and then going for a SHORT hail mary instead of a good pass to the 30 yrd line to set up the tie. The Ravens played this game like the Bears would have....and that's not a recipe for success. However, not even a Bears player would have acted like a child like Scott did. Moron. The Ravens HANDED that one to Brady and Co.

Question.....with CRUCIBLE starting in January, why can't you play CoD4 with your clan in it?

Correct. As well as being a CURRENT member of this community, AND in good standing. Those who played one Black tourney "in the day" and haven't returned yet aren't filled in.

For me, it has always been about INFORMATION. There are a lot of clan sites out there that may LOOK slick, but that slickness really doesn't tell you ABOUT the clan. And there are many visitors other than your own clansmen who go and look at these sites, especially now with the UF Directory installed. Solitary gunners who come looking for a great UF clan to join in order to play in the tourney may go to your site.....but besides the very basic (and in my opinion, WAY over-used) "we're a grown up, elite, tactical clan that doesn't cheat," thrown in the text, are you REALLY letting that visitor know WHO or WHAT you really are? It would cut down the guess work on another clan who visits your site with the intentions of having a scrimmage with you, or potentially considering your clan something they'd like to form a friendship with. It would cut down on the guess work that a lone gunner has to go through to figure out if your environment is truly something he/she wants to be a part of. What your website looks like may not directly translate to what your clan is about or the personalities typically found in your clan. Information is always a good thing, and for online gaming, information is priceless. It's like a summer blockbuster.....it may have great CGI graphics or what not.....but if the STORY sucks, then it's not going to be very memorable. I think that mentality can translate to clan websites as well.

Where oh where have you heard this luxurious piece of news, Junk? Because I'd LOVE to know. The plans for Black IV and Crucible have now been set and will be unveiled this coming week. I think many of you will be pleasantly surprised.

Oh, I was very serious and sincere. As much of a Bear fan that I am, and as much as I appreciate the rivalry, if the Bears can't do it this year then I would like to see the Pack do some damage, if only because it may just be his last year in the NFL....and I'd like to see him go out on a high note. Whether I like him or not, I cannot deny that the man has EARNED everything he's gotten in this league, and I have been wishing him the best for the past 4-5 games now. I was pulling for him tonight, for sure. We'll see though. Good luck in the rest of the season.

just cuz hes better than you will ever be doesnt mean you need to be hating... Hope that arm/hand of his is going to be ok. Would hate to see his great year hampered by an injury like that. And that's coming from a BEARS FAN. ;D
