Its a virtual world for the PS3 (the easy answer). You will get a aviator (like a MII) and you can travel around this virtual world to view streaming advertisements (movie clips game demo vids). They have also said publishers will have store areas that they can customize. It will include some casual games in it and possible more available to buy later (so far I've seen pool tables and a bowling alley). Every player will also have their home where they can show off their own customized area.

i would say oblivion is a must but you said you dont like sword games so maybe not its a action rpg. Uncharted drakes fortune is a greate adventure game. madden is madden: always the same but always good IMO Orange box is worth renting for potal awesome game If you can get your hands on a cheap copy of motorstorm : I dont even like racing games really and its the most fun i've had with one in a while but keep in mind i havn't tried paradise yet. And the best advise i can give if your a gamer like me:::::STICK WITH ONLY BUYING CALL OF DUTY 4:::since getting COD4 i have only spent a few hours total playing any new games

I'm not sure what you mean. Everyone knows that if you kill an opposing player WITH A GRENADE, then there is a penalty. Seems to me that this is the way people are dieing, or am I incorrect? I was talking about the topic which is the last stand granade kill. which is more of a bug in the game.

It sucks to take a loss due to it, we almost did last week but how would you have this incorporated into the rules? It got posted a couple of days ago when it was found.

My wife tried to get me to give up video games???? told her I'm in the middle of a tourney . Then she said i could just play for tourney games but then i brought up practice so she gave up. After a lot of debating i gave alcohol.

Was there a new patch released today? I can't log on and check since I'm at work but I'm hoping some of the connection issues get fixed. On another note does anyone know if the disconnect issue (where the antenna appears on screen and you get a disconnect message) is a server bug or if it's a dumb kid puttin their router on standby or pulling their cord thinking they wont get penalized for it?

In COD4 whats the golden gun for the sniper rifles

haha yea i meant which one becomes golden after completing all of the sniper challenges. I'm sure ill find out in a month or so but my guess would be a golden r700 just because hardly anyone uses it and I'm sure there are players out there that have golden the golden sniper riffle if there is one -
I just started to try and complete all the challenges and was just wondering. I don't think I've run into anyone that Had a golden sniper riffle yet.

A few of our players, me included, can't log on until right before the match due to work. Every mon and wed is a rush to get on 10 minutes before the match.

after reading my original post and question i can see why some posts or responses went a diffrent way, what i meant by this is how do you like the game with the no boom rule.

a no boom option would be cool. the player options to make group games are cool even without this option. it's a shame there isn't a way to get points and stats off of player made rooms. like playing deathmatch with limited respawns
