Every PS3 game i own works fine except Socom. :-\ Ditto. Cilli's just a hater. Can't admit we have the superior product.

No way, I paid 60 bucks so it could work in the first place. This man speaks da troof! LOL... well aside from that. I think this is what gaming companies need to do.

True. The initial $60 investment should be enough... but I've posted this many times and still feel it's the truth. Until we are willing to pay a "nominal" monthly fee, we will have to deal with the crap we deal with on a daily basis with online games... for the most part. I posted this like in the Socom II days in the PS underground boards. If Zipper would adopt a monthly fee of like say, $6 to $10... that would go to updates, patches, maintenance of servers, monthly maps dwls along with dwl content in general and a complete yearly dwl of new content. Now I know everyone is like HELL NO! No way!!! But hear me out. You pay $60 everytime a new Madden or other game comes out yearly, right? So if you divide it up to monthly and take the higher number of $10 a month... that's $120 a year. So lets take $60 out for the yearly dwl content of basically a new game... that leaves $60 for the rest. Is that worth it? I say HELL YEAH! Now this is only and I mean ONLY if the afore mentioned is done consistently and properly. I mean, can you imagine a lag free, glitch free constant updated Socom!?? It would be awesome and worth every penny! I think gaming companies need to adopt this model IMO. It works for them as they get a stream of income and hence TIME to work on it... and it works for us as we would FINALY get the game we all want. Just my opinion.

Actually there's a way to lock them out. I figured it out. If you press square it brings up the main menu on the right. Scroll all the way down to the last tab and it says "begin presentation"... up at the top of the board it will say, "you are the presenter"... now you are the only one that can mess with the board. The problem I see, is the mics still don't work openly. So you could call one guy on the PSN phone... and you'd hear him but the rest of the clan won't be able to hear you. So it's still once again lacking. I'm curious to see what the second half of this will be. I think they will start offering theme clubhouses. And I think we will be able to either buy or if you own one already, change the theme of the club house. That would make sense. Once again, we'll have to WAIT and see. lol But hey, things are starting to trickle out. We are getting a glimpse of things to come. I think it's cool.

What's up fellow UF'ers... I was in it today. It's modeled after Urban Wasteland. It's kind of cool (only if you understand HOME)... They have a TacMap editor you can go over tactics with you clan if you have something new to show them. HOME is getting a little more useful month by month. As soon as it gets out of Beta and we can launch into game from there, it will be a lot better. Side note: They also have picture frames you can get now. Can't wait till video streaming is possible from your club house. That would be very useful to clans IMO. I put our clan logo in one in my apartment... kind of cool. Ok, let the flaming begin.

Great vid! LOL I'm glad to know I'm not alone on this. It has nothing to do with who has a life or not. That is one of my main gripes! LOL I have a life and not a lot of time. It takes three times the time it used to take to get in game with buddies and then enjoy a few hours or quality gaming, not lagging out... game freezes etc.

So after much frustration and disappointment as many of you all have shared with me on Socom series, I'm hanging my sticks up as far as this game goes. I can't take the level of imperfection this game has shown. I may log on from time to time to a Raven Midnight Mass or something, but I'm pulling out of all tourneys and hell week here... ect. I've actually enjoyed putting in my old S2 disc recently more then anything. LOL It was a long run from my first clan I co-founded S&D (Seek and Destroy) on S2 to being in TOU and SHO on S3 and CA. The magic is just not there anymore. The intensity and fun is very low at best. Gone are the nights when you can log on EASILY, find you clan, get in game and game for a couple of quality hours and still have a life. Goof luck to all, I'll still be here from time to time to check in and who knows, may see you in a Midnight Mass sometime. SlantSix and Zipper... KISS MY STINKY PIG ASS!!!!! LOL

Every generation has someone or something that predicts the end of the world. I don't think we will end for thousands of more years down the line myself... but just in case, I have friends who live in a remote area in Ecuador. They have invited me and my girl to come watch the end of the world on those dates. I have already planned the trip... you know, just in case. LOL They are a very interesting people, the MAYANS and their calendar was more accurate the the one we use today. Pretty weird. But end of the world...? ehhh... maybe, maybe not.

Oh, we bringing it in here? LOL Yeah, I had to work but I watched in live streaming from CNN facebook. I have to say, it was flawless. I think we are seeing the future of broadcasting with that... but I digress! LOL I couldn't help but notice the difference in 8 years and two men and the following. Bush had like 3 ppl at his inaugural and it was a cold rainy day. Very dreary. Today was such stark contrast... beautiful sunny day, with over 4 MILLION PPL!!!! lol I once again feel proud to be an American!

I think because for the elections UF was allowing us to have that discussion but because this is a gaming tournament site we have gone back to that. Just a guess. Politico.com is a great place to have discussions on political stuff.
