I may go rent this after your little write up, Piro. I haven't played TW since 09. I tried 10,11, but didn't like them much. The only thing I will disagree with you on, is the shoes giving you attribute boosts. Shoes make a HUGE difference. I went from wearing tennis shoes, to puma "turf" shoes, to a cheap pair of Calloway golf shoes, to my current pair of Addias 360 tours. Huge difference at each step. But you are right about the shirts and watches and pants and hats and such.

LMAO!! Ran into one of those last night. With [EA*] tags on. Then we told him to leave because we don't like playing with cheaters, he flipped the hell out!! I told him, he shouldn't accept random tags if he can't handle the repercussions of it. Then he goes off on a rant about everyone in the room was out to get the black guy, and he'll come out to our suburbs and roll on us when we least expect it. I love those kinds of guys!! Anyway, on topic, I LOVE this game. Sure there are some things that need tweaked, but overall this very well could be the best Socom yet. I really can't make that distinction until I've played the full game, but so far so good. Plus, it's a given that maps/modes we want will be in future DLC. I sure hope so, and that they don't put guns in DLC. The only glaring problem that they don't seem to address in public, are the lobbies, or lack of lobbies. It might be in the beta forums, but with all the damn crybabies in there, you can't find a damn thing thats pertinent.

There isn't any reason for you guys to start sniping at each other. Yes, some people have left UF. Yes, others switch clans. It's in the past. Let's move on and be done with it.

I take it you really liked HW, YMNBF? I already told you once. There will be an evaluation period for new clans. When it's ready, it will be up for all to see. Until then, why not put that bone in your safety deposit box.

Funny thing, that. I played S2 a month or two ago. For all the nostalgia we bring up all the time, the game isn't as good when compared to games now. Even if it had new graphics, it would still be sub par by today's standards. Confrontation completely warped the perception of Socom. Now we have a very good new version coming out, and people are still upset because it isn't S2. Re-making that game as it stood wouldn't be worth the money they would charge. Games have evolved, and as gamers we should change with them. While there are a few things in this game that are WTF moments, it is still very solid. Most of those changes on that post aren't game breakers. Mic issues, Camera issues, lobbies, tie breakers and customizable controls are the only real issues with this game. The rest of the suggested changes floating around aren't needed. Now that I've gotten my hands dirty with the game, I'm excited for release day. Even if they didn't change a thing, I'll fux with it all the time.

I did not read this as a free agent post either, merely a question. Anyways, Stryker, go to this forum and you will find recruiting threads(they might be buried a bit with all the S4 threads), as well as a list(that needs updated) of clans around these parts. http://www.urgentfury.com/forumdisplay.php/766-Playstation-3 Or you can look at members profiles, as most have their clan website listed, and go check out their recruiting sections. Any UF clan would be a great group to join, you just have to find one that is the right fit for you.

I got to play for the first time last night. I only played a bit in Respawn, and a full map of classic. Other than the technical glitches they said will be fixed, I loved it. I love the new feel. I love how it feels even more tactical than older socoms. I love that you once again can actually be camoflauged in the backgrounds. Like I said, I only played a bit, but so far, I really don't understand why people are upset. I'm sure the more pt I get, I'll notice more issues.

That is the truth!! Actually, almost all the buffets in Vegas blow now. The Golden Nugget is still a good one. Don't believe the hype about the Palms buffet. One of the worst, imo. -
I personally hate open mics. I don't need to hear someone's wife yelling at them, or the baby they are neglecting crying in the bg.

I've tried them out and they do work. I personally wouldn't use them for gaming. I would use them at work if you sit in front of a screen all day. They reduce a ton of the eye strain staring at a monitor 6+ hours a day. -

Guys, come on now. You all know that your issues could have been pm'd to CB. He most likely has an excuse for being clueless about procedures, do you? I didn't think so. Good luck with the new clan, CB. Like stated earlier, you might want to bolster those numbers before moving on to competition.
