I think that particular bit is more about who signs the paychecks. IMO, 98% of reporters will report the way their bosses tell them. It is a shame, and I don't see it changing anytime soon. Nice thread. Started off a little shaky, but there is some great food for thought in here. I totally agree with this statement. And also with your sentiment that my example is a bit archaic. But the demographics still play a part. You do still get large population groups that rely one one source of info for whatever reason...language barrier, dedication to religion and seeing their pulpits as the be all end all gospel, no time to devote to individual research, apathy..etc etc... You name it, its there. I agree with all that too. I know the internet is starting to dominate the information chain, but there are still quite a few communities that distrust the interweb in general and get their news from local spinsters.

SO I guess I'll keep waiting, and when it's time to vote, I'll wing it. I am totally with you there money. If McCain picks Mit Romney for a running mate that may be enough to swing my vote. I will have to see. BUT Obama will NEVER get my vote. He is a full fledged Marxist. He has hung out with some very unappealing people in the past and will keep it at that. Coupled with what I cropped from pigs post, the VP is prolly what will swing my vote. Mccain is old as dirt, and is due for a massive coronary, Obama WILL get shot at multiple times, and one is bound to slip through. SO really it seems we have a 50/50 chance the VP will get promoted anyways. Maybe we'll even get lucky and the VP will be the one really running the show like the last 8 years.

Ok. A buddy of mine turned me onto this. I thought he was fucking nuts, but it's sweet. Mac & cheese, after you mived it all up, add a little dressing and a can of tuna fish(salmon is good too). He uses waaayyy more miracle whip than I do, but man it's the shit!! 1 minute egg sammich: small tupperware bowl, beat yer eggs in it, microwave 45 seconds, scrape out put on bread. Pyrex works better, but microwavable tupp works too. Used to drive my mom nuts and now drives the wife nuts. ;D

Hell yeah it is. To think in five years, we'll see people walking around looking like Robotec charachter is sweet. You damn well know that people will start tricking them out, just like they do wheelchairs. That'll be cool.

Big D, I personally am against any weapon that can kill people right off the bat in their spawn. That's why I olny played Frostfire with no nades. It's bullshit that devs don't take this shit into account. Now as far as the heavy guns, Saw, M60, etc, I hated that people called those noob weapons(any gun really). They are FUNDAMENTAL!!! ;D I roll with those alot to provide cover fire for my troops to move around. If your ass comes around a corner while I'm laying it down, yer bad.

Something of a mix between the exoskeleton of a crustacean and the suit worn by comic hero Iron Man, ReWalk helps paraplegics -- people paralyzed below the waist -- to stand, walk and climb stairs. Goffer himself was paralyzed in an accident in 1997 but he cannot use his own invention because he does not have full function of his arms.

Hell no. My buddy has it for ps3 and the online is alot worse than for the Box!! Just like COD. I about broke my disk on Saturday after all the damn party reforming we had to do on ps3. We didn't have enough to play private, so we rolled ranked and had to reform almost every damn map. It was bad. I would have gotten it for ps3, had UrbanFury taken off. :'(

They are called poker runs here too. I don't go too often, as we can never find a DD. Alot of dumbshit's ride to each bar on thier harley's. That's another reason I don't go often. I usually try to stay off the roads on nights when the DUI dumbshits are out in force.

Didn't the last Socom tac map still have all the game modes? I know Black never had them because of the small map no boom. I can't remember, but I thought extraction, breach, etc were in socoms last installment. -

Not that i dont believe them or whatever.. but 1 map is enough to give that assumption? Crossroads will always be fun for some.. and thats all the beta is correct? Trust me.. i am a 3rd person shooter .. not 1st.. so i truly hope that this is the end all game to own.. did anyone try the PSP version of socom Slant Six got there hands on?? Yes i do know that there is truly no comparison in the games.. just looking at direction they went w/ the franchise... I hear that, but that bastard Dat has been playing all the maps. Like tink said, he's an old schooler like us. I believe him, and I can't fuggin WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! -

You know I love you Red, but that is the dumbest thing I've ever heard you say. The cold hard truth of the matter is, we will NEVER win the war on Terror. Ever. Unless every other country is complete rubble. Period. There will always be clowns that are haters of someone else, and will go to drastic measures. That was beauty of the current admin's decision to call it a "War on Terror", because it could go on forever, kinda like McCain's 100 year war. carry on..... ;D
