A quick update on some of the functions we have added along with some quick how to's on the site. Recently we added a new function that will create a tweet when a new post is created like we had with vBulletin but it also adds a nifty little twitter card at the bottom of the post where you can retweet, favorite, ect on twitter. We know some of you guys and gals out there are twitter users. This also gets the word out to our 8600 followers when there is a new topic created. We have also noticed that it is not exactly straight forward on how to embed media and such... the easiest way to do it is to click the "Div" button which is the third button on the top row. Then in the drop box you will find several options like media, embed tweet, post link, etc. Just choose which one you want to do and follow the instructions from there. Generally you just need to provide a link and it will do the rest. Let us know if you have any questions or issues.

Currently the system will only add Twitch, it does not include uStream. It only limits you on adding duplicate streams, so I am not sure what error you were receiving when you tried to add another stream. -
Ok here is the latest update and the next step in getting the teams resolved: Each Team Member is required to fill out this form: http://www.urgentfury.com/forms/2-uf-on-tour-prize-claim-form/ This will make sure that we have the latest contact information and gives you an option to be paid via Money Order or PayPal. Patrick's first tenure with the popular tournament community began in 2006, and lasted until 2012, when he left to create Battle Chatter Online with his colleague and friend Bill Lavoy (now of Prima Games). In September of 2013, he joined the development team at SOF Studios where he served as UI & Audio Designer for the "H-Hour: World's Elite" proof of concept demo. Upon completion of the demo, he was approached by Urgent Fury with an offer to return and decided it was time for a homecoming. Once again, he will oversee all branches of media including audio, visual, & social media. And says he has a desire to expand Urgent Fury's current model. "I think that it's no secret that Urgent Fury has struggled with its identity over the last few years…mainly because the industry has changed & evolved so rapidly. But I'm confident that we know what we need to do to adapt, and what we need to do to be sure that Urgent Fury is in step with the industry". He also says he plans on resuming production of the community favorite podcast Urgent Frequency. "UFreq was such a huge part of what I did here at Urgent Fury, and I have every intention of making sure that's still the case moving forward. In fact, the plan is to expand the amount of media content overall". Urgent Fury CIO Shane Bell says he's excited about Patrick's return. "He was the very first staff member at Urgent Fury, Patrick is Urgent Fury. He understands how the community was built from the ground up and what direction we need to be heading. A quick update from the Oil Patch... I am working away out here on the rig, actually posting via our satellite internet connection that is slow as crap lol. Everything is running as planned we have set up the form and will be sharing that shortly. Here is the procedure... Winning team members will each fill out their claim form providing current address, email and phone numbers. You will have 90 days to complete this once we have posted the form. Once you complete the form a post will be started that only the staff and directors and the user that filled out the form can see. We will use this to have direct communication and track each payment to ensure it has been received. Once it is received that post will be closed. The payouts are still on tap to start around the end of the month beginning of Oct, right now I am trying to gauge what my actual paydays will be in correlation to my bills, so that I can plan payouts on my off payday when bills are not due. I believe this is going to be the end of the month vs the beginning. I will continue to keep you posted as we prepare to start this process. Thanks for your understanding and continued support.

Ok let me go through these for you Forum based tournaments is not correct though with the switch to IPB our System to manage tournaments will have to be rewritten. But we will continue to offer leagues and TacMaps will be a once a year offering. There is a continued growth of awareness if what Urgent Fury does as we reach out through various Channels such as Twitch, events, etc. When we do a Tournament for a new game that we have not done before, generally the new clans vs old clans is higher. Examples of this from the past include Starhawk and Dust. Upcoming League offerings will include The Last of Us, Battlefield 4 and COD: AW I said that game development has shifted from clan based gaming to team based gaming, see my post above. There is a big difference in Competitive Clan Play and eSports play. I did not say COD is not capable for tournament play, I just said that it was not clan friendly. But again COD is not clan style play friendly. For eSports is perfect designed for 4 v 4 play. TacMaps will always continue to be invite only but leagues will be open to clans to join and serve as their evaluation. Hell week worked really well with Socom but it did not have the same feel when it came to COD. The gameplay is so different from Socom it just is not the same. We also decided long ago that with the Leagues, we could accomplish the evaluations without the manpower required for Hell Week. Starhawk offered private servers with a server browser just like Socom, an in game clan system, passworded servers, naming of servers, etc. Basically most of the functions that if more games really should have to make the games more clan friendly.
