  1. In response to @xPJx We are actually looking into adding a BF4 server, CBF has been hosting a server for a while and since Cntry and Money are on there most of the time they have been using their server... Let me address your 4 points: Point 1, the shift from Military based tournaments to a Sony exclusive site. This is actually a little off since we have always been Sony exclusive (primarily and up until Socom 4, almost exclusive to Socom) site. And the only shift from Military Shooter i guess is the lack of our header that had a military theme. Yes that is gone and we will continue to evolve with the PlayStation community offering tournaments for games that provide a platform for competition. And as stated before the front page is still not complete, the new software has not been up for a week but the conversion had to be done before I left for Oklahoma. There will be additional changes to the front page. Some things had to take priority unfortunately. Point 2 Sweepstake issues... While we do not require users to register on the site when we use the PunchTab system 99% of the time it is a member of the community that wins. They may not be active on the forums, but they may be actively engaged in our social channels or Twitch. All of this supports Urgent Fury in some form or fashion. This will remain unchanged. Point 3 Interaction with Clans... We continue to interact with Clans that actively show interest in helping UF, this may be via these forums, party chat conversations, private message, etc. We have an open door and are always reachable especially through posting on these forums. Point 4 Time and Resources... So out of the staff of 6 and 3 directors, the only industry related work falls into mostly my hands and of that, it may be a total of 6 hours a month maybe. There are however 2 to 3 events a year that are attended which has no adverse effect as well. This is not going to change anytime soon, if anything it may increase as we get closer to PAX South. As for PR and Advertising, we do not advertise anywhere currently nor do we have any PR campaigns so there are no resources being used for this. Now you say these are the topics that members says caused the decline of the community. I am trying to figure out how this is correct... let me site my reason for this statement based on your topics provided: Topic 1: site redesign, this happened a week ago. The decline of the community started long before this. Topic 2 Giveaway issues, since many of our community members are the ones that enter these giveaway it has not caused any decline in the community. If someone left because they did not win, well what can we do? Topic 3: Interaction with the Community... this probably gives us the most insight into the decline of the community's activity. According to our community that actively interact with us, they are beyond fractured in their own communities/clans because of the Console Generation (not everyone has moved to ps4 and many that did got rid of their ps3s. We expected this to happen, but did not anticipate how many did not keep their ps4's. As clans are now settling in on PS4s they are beginning to find the games that fit them as a group. Topic 4: Time and Resources... Once again this has done more to benefit the community than anything else. It has given us avenues to expand our community by increasing our reach when we offer events, given the community early access to betas and helped us prepare for upcoming games. If this turns off community members it is a shame and not really anything that will change. We will continue to attend events and work within the industry when we have the opportunity and it benefits the community. In reviewing the purpose of this original topic, these points listed are not what has caused Clans and tournament sites to go away or change direction. The reason lies within the gaming industry and how games are developed. The newer generation of gamers are not creating clans like we veterans do. It is all about building the best team to win a certain tournament. Back in the day it was about the pride of playing with your clan, whereas now it is all about getting the win no matter what. With that mindset, we have seen nothing but issues with ringers, clans only lasting weeks instead of years, etc. As a tournament provider we have to decide where we are going to go. Do we sit in the past and cater to a group that is dwindling fast or do we move forward to cater to how gamers play now? The obvious answer is the latter, we have to grow with the current trend. But with that being said we can still encourage gamers to learn pride and loyalty to their team. Destiny had all of the making to provide that kind of environment. Clan building tools both ingame and on the site, dedicated forums for your clan, etc. But even with all of those great tools, they cut the ability to set up clan wars. How do you expect clans to build up their foundation if you do not give them a purpose. The last game that actually focused on Clans and gave clans true competitive tools was Starhawk. If more games took the tools like Starhawk and Destiny (almost), games would increase replay value. Socom did this right and that is why these games were played for years instead of months. Call of Duty tries to do this but does not give you all of the tools clans really need. Anyone can throw up a Clan tag even if they are not in a clan. That is enough for now, I got to get back to what I was working on.
  2. UPDATE --- Looks like this is fake but what are your thoughts if they really went to this level of punishment? If this is true, it is awesome for the Judge to do this! DeQuincy, LA — What many teenagers these days are considering a harmless prank, has landed one online gamer in more trouble than he could have ever imagined. In a Louisiana courtroom today, 15-year-old Paul Horner broke down in tears after a judge found the young man guilty on two counts of domestic terrorism and was sentenced to twenty-five years to life in federal prison. - See more at: http://nationalreport.net/15-year-old-swatted-domestic-terrorism#sthash.8pD63zi2.dpuf
  3. Well let me sum up why you are met with hostility... you started the conversation by attacking us... now if you would have started out with a similar posting in the summit thread that would have probably led to a completely different discussion altogether. But you opted with the standard attack with half truths, speculation, etc. Instantly we are in defense mode... Honestly I really could care less about what you think of John or I. At the end of the day we are not going anywhere and certainly we will make the final decisions on things. Your last post is riddled with so much false information it's not even worth breaking down to point out how little you seem to think you know. But when you are ready to start a post that actually is not intent on bashing directors, staff (past or new) or the community in some matter you are welcome to try again. Than maybe you might get some actual feedback and discussion. But as it stands your post is 10% feedback/discussion and 90% bash on UF, and quite frankly we have more important things to do than deal with all of that BS.
  4. I have moved this to its own topic since the purpose of these posts were not relevant to the original topic. Well since this has turned into an attack on my character I guess the gloves are off, the bottom feeder statement had John and I both laughing... Not to mention our clan KO has the record for the longest TacMap Territory hold out (33 + Weeks) in the history of UF. But yeah I guess that makes us bottom feeders and not to the level of the clans we beat. Post organization may not matter to you but it does to us so here you go now you have your own thread... You might know that it is community members that win these contests. We opt to use PunchTab for our giveaways because yes it does reach outside of the community, why is that such a bad thing. The winners of our stream giveaways are just as much a part of the community supporting our live streams that happen close to 4 nights a week sometimes more. You are right we do not reach out to the community publicly on design input, rather we include specific members that we know and trust. Generally this starts with staff. Well I am glad that former staff members are feeding your fire... is there a dream goal of hiring staff on full time so that all they work on is UF, sure. But promises made, not really. Only one staff member has ever been compensated for his time and that was out of my pocket. UrgentFury.com may have been born from Socom a tactical military shooter, but it has grown to include other style games like Starhawk, COD, etc. No need to go changing the name because we expanded into other genres. While Doc may not post here much, as a matter of fact he does not post much on any forums, he puts in plenty of hours into UF. As we speak he is preparing to head to PAX to represent UF and hosts weekly Streams on UF for Community Night on games like COD, PvZ GW, Destiny and such. There is much more to Urgent Fury than a Forum. Ohh and the staff section Drama suddenly came to a halt when the Drama hounds left... It actually kind of nice and peaceful, but we see now that one of the Drama Hounds has returned. I would say welcome back, thinking hmm that summit post was kind of a cool idea, but it only took 48 hours after launch of the new forums for the true colors to shine through. As far as I am concerned its time the kid gloves come off over here, this whole kinder gentler bs that was put forth has allowed the trolls to run rampant here. John, Our new Director and I agree that the staff and if need be the community should start to stand up for themselves instead of cowering for PC purposes. There is a line of course and that image did not reach it. Yup
  5. The latest videos for Wizards that they released are awesome: http://youtu.be/GXQExw1zSPA http://youtu.be/eOcBJkk8Pt8
  6. I'm going to respond to this in two parts first the design comments: Let me address the Military Theme, we talked about this for several weeks before going with a more general theme for the initial background vs a military background because we are not tied to military themed games specifically. We will be offering various types of games as the trend takes us. But as we felt there were gamers that would like a game specific look you will find the option to choose a Call of Duty and Battlefield 4 theme. We will be adding additional backgrounds as well. We reference the old design often believe it or not, it is still right here on the server and we have the source files to this day. www.urgentfury.com/aboutold.html but one of the many things we have done is moved to a centralized CMS purley for integration purposes. This is only the beginning of the design process and frankly we moved to get the conversion done before I went back on the road. My internet access is going to be on satellite so getting the conversion done this week was a priority. The lighter greens are already something we are looking at for the buttons and such. Making adjustments to the color is actually not too hard and can be done as we see fit. But as I said this is a base design until we move into the full custom design being developed by a professional IPB Skin Designer. We are in agreement with the breadcrumb and search bar, this is something we are looking to change but came with the particular theme we purchased. We are not going to do any major skin breaking moves since we are actually going to be moving to a full design change down the road. The frosted effect is actually not a separate image, it is done via java and we really cannot control it... we have discussed taking it out altogether but for now we are going to keep it because it is kind of a neat effect. The content on the front page is not quite done yet... that really is on my end as I have been trying to get several things done before I leave next week. This will be something I am working on while I sit at the rig on my 12 hour shifts. There are actually several pages that are not currently viewable that will come as they are complete. This includes a rewritten about us page with a history about Urgent Fury, at History of the TacMap and a few other pages. The Logos you are looking for will be added to the footer which is not quite complete so we have it omitted right now. Now your rant: First I am going to try and not take any of this personally even though it is clearly directed at me. I will start by saying I and we because there is more than just I here know what made UF what it was, we have been a part of UF long before we took over competing here in our clan. Have we taken some wrong turns in the past, sure but that is part of the growing pains. Our staff members are fully involved with everything going on here and have been behind us completely. Just to be clear this is our current Staff: BgCntry, BigMoneyNacku, Disfsk3x14, Lifesjusajoke, Doc, Oddjob and Sierra. Both BgCntry and Sierra are active duty Coast Guard so their time has been limited as of late but Cntry has just settled into his new Alaskan Duty Station a couple of weeks ago and is getting back into full swing. Your evidence of not running or being part of a clan is far from fact. Not only were John and I in the same clan together, we all split off to form a new clan down the road that we were all in until we purchased UF. We decided that to be objective we would not be in a clan that would be allowed to compete in UF anymore. Shortly after that, the clan pretty much disbanded because the other guys wanted to compete. Both clans KO and DSY/FW competed in Urgent Fury for several years. The shift from Military Shooters really came from the end of the Socom era. That was the lifeblood of UF and what the existence of Urgent Fury was based on, since then no game has provided that style of play that made the TacMap really feel the way it did back in the day. We have tried to force other games into the mold and they have not quite worked. Are we done with TacMaps? No. But we have to look at every game along with the players differently. Your accounting of the decline of staff is a little off and honestly it does not really matter anymore, we still have a few of our original staff a few new staff and a soon to be announced addition that has a clear direction on where we are going from here. Many of the issues were caused by disagreements among John, AC and I and it took its toll on the Staff and the site. John and I are still here we still have the original goals that we set out on and our newest addition that we will be announcing shortly not only has a clear understanding of Urgent Fury, there is a long term vested interest there. I will also clear up a few other of your points such as promise of financial gain for being staff or a ranger is false. If our goal was to reap a huge financial reward, UF would have been gone long before this. We have always been upfront about want the site to be self sufficient and sure it would be great to get some of the over $40,000 or so spent doing what we have done with UF back. Our relationship with Sony benefits everyone, it may be something as simple as a free giveaway to our input in the design of a game. The whole self imposed personal relationships comment is funny, have I garnered many relationships, you bet all to benefit UF in some form or fashion. These relationships have led to endless amounts of rewards to our community such as beta access, free hardware, free games, free guides and more. If this is a bad thing then well I must be doing something wrong. I have been fortunate to be able to attend many of the events because I have the time. Doc attends these events as well and will be representing UF at PAX Prime this year as well as the PlayStation MVP program which BgCntry and I am also a part of. Now if this does not sound like something you want to be a part of, we are sorry. We all talk with our community members on a regular basis in party chat on PS4 to get a feel for what they are looking for. Right now many of the clans are just not sure which game is going to fit what they want to do and we are kind of in the same boat. Anyway Rant over, hope that cleared up a few things and if it didn't this is not really the thread for it as it is for Bug reports on the new software.
  7. One of the reasons we moved from VB is the issues were becoming more problematic because of the numerous mods we had installed that were easily replaced by switching to IPB As it stands this is going to be a color scheme we use for a while, it goes back to some of the original colors in the Urgent Fury Design. We are happy to hear feedback of course so can you be a little more specific on which colors you feel look really bad? As I said above, we were having more and more issues with VB and decided it was time to move to a system that I know well and have used in the past. The functionality that came with it made the move an easy choice. Glad you were able to reset your password.
  8. Post any bugs here please

  10. TacMaps will be back next year just not sure which game yet. And more news on Podcasts and such soon as well. Right now we are building out our Stream Team as we have been receiving tons of support from Devs with them providing the game to us to stream and give away. Thanks Rapture and Last we are moving forward... The design is coming along nicely staff are testing some of the functions and getting used to the new tools for moderating and such. We have some pretty cool surprises with the design too that will let you personalize it a bit for your liking. For those that do not like the ads, you will have an option to use paypal or use our direct processor Stripe for the premium add on. We have the following ad zones activated and are similar to what we have in vBulletin: Leaderboards (728 x 90) Global Header Global Footer Forum View: After first topic or Topic View: After first post [*]Medium Rectangle (300 x 250) Above Right Sidebar on most pages [*]Visitors that are not signed in will also get the Video Ad in the bottom right corner of the site When you have the premium membership and you are signed in you will not see any of the ads listed above. We have tested the new software and it is optimized for iPads, Tablets and even the PS4 Browser. It works well on newer smartphone browsers as well. We will continue to use Tapatalk as well. Once we are ready to start the conversion we will take Urgent Fury down for the process, there is no exact timeline for how long this will take but we will do our best to keep you posted via Twitter and Facebook on the progress. Big shout out to the staff that contributed to making the conversion to the new software and design happen before I get out on the rigs. I will be a little less stressed knowing that we should have this finished before I get on the road.
  11. RockStar have made a habit of creating hugely successful games series which make a big impact in the industry and further increases their profile within the gaming community. While LA Noire transformed the entire complexion of animation and cinematography in console games, the Grand Theft Auto series continues to generate huge interest across the world. The latest instalment illustrates just how far technology and graphics have progressed over the years, with GTA V containing all the hallmarks and gameplay traits that made the game one of the most sought after titles in 2013. While gamers can still run riot throughout the streets of Los Santos creating havoc or completing missions whilst trying to keep their head above water, GTA V integrates a number of fascinating decisions which not only affects the storyline, but also each of the three characters – Michael, Trevor and Franklin. Perhaps more prominent in the world of online gaming on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 is the ability to play in online worlds where gamers can establish their own property portfolio and garage full of luxurious sports cars, whilst also completing missions, races and other modes with other gamers. It provides a wonderful dimension to a hugely successful game which has sold 32.5 million copies, with the number set to increase as GTA V is set to be re-mastered for next generation console owners. Next gen gamers forced to wait The significant advancement in graphics, processing speeds and technological capabilities between the current and next gen consoles creates greater potential for GTA V to include many more features, game modes and graphical detail that will provide an unbeatable gaming experience. Unfortunately, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 owners will have to wait a little bit longer for a taste of GTA V in its revamped format; the release date was originally set for x, but there are strong rumours that the game is still in the development process which may take until 2015 to be completed. It could be due RockStar trying to avoid the considerable number of glitches and technical problems which significantly transformed the huge excitement and anticipation of a blockbuster game on release day into widespread disappointment and frustration. They made up for the numerous errors made by offering every player $500,000 to spend with their created online character; the gesture was generally well received by avid GTA gamers, but avoiding a repeat and taking more care with the game should ensure that next gen console gamers will have a glitch-free title to enjoy when it becomes available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC What should we expect? Once it was announced that GTA V was to be re-mastered for next generation consoles, the rumour mill has continued to produce potential possibilities that we could see on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. There can be no question that every aspect of the current generation title will remain intact, although the considerable step up in graphics and processing speeds allows for greater volume of game modes, activities and missions. The strongest rumour is that GTA enthusiasts will be able to enter the one and only casino on the game that is only included on the original title as part of the environment. Allowing gamers to enter the casino carries the potential to not only replicate the same enjoyment and gameplay experience that can be enjoyed on the River Belle casino online, but also provide an additional activity away from completing missions and earning more money that can be put towards properties, guns, cars or new clothes to look the part. A growing number of the gaming community are calling for RockStar to include a zombie mode onto GTA V to provide Michael, Trevor and Franklin with a new form of enemy to overcome in their bid for fame and fortune. RockStar certainly have the ability to incorporate zombies into a hugely successful games series, as proved with the Undead Nightmare instalment for Red Dead Redemption; doing the same with GTA V would appease consumer demand and create a more enhanced gameplay experience to blow gamers away.
  12. While we do have a plan for this, I currently cannot go into detail because of some NDA stuffs....
  13. Excerpt from todays update: Many of those following this have seen that I am finally after almost 4 years of lack of work changing industries and going back on the day job grind. What this means is that I am personally paying out the winnings for Chicago. Now this is not all going to happen at once, I will have to pay chunks at a time. I officially start working the first week of September, so I will not see my first paycheck until late September. I have picked up a pretty good paying job in the oil field and hope to have everyone paid within a couple of months or so. Do not take that as a hard date, it's an estimate based my pay rate and my schedule given to me. We are going to pay the teams in reverse order so that I can get more paid quickly. The first place team will be the last paid not only because of the amounts but also because members of that team are the ones responsible for our site, paypal and financial accounts being hacked and attacked. Even though many express that we should not pay them after all that, I would rather get them the winnings and they will never be welcome at one of our events again. I will be posting a form for users to fill out so that we can get updated information to make sure they receive their payments. I will continue to update the post as more info comes.
  14. As many have noticed it has been quite stale here for the last year between the unfortunate issues with the Chicago event last year, the overall lack of games and most clans being split across platforms (PS3/PS4). So with that being said I think it's time to let you guys in on what we have been doing and what is here to come. First of all to all of those that have stuck by our side from the community and our Staff members (Dis, Money, Cntry, Doc, Guillermo and Sierra) we are eternally Grateful. It is this core team that has kept the fire lit here at UF and will be the driving force for the next phase in Urgent Fury's progression. Chicago Update Let's get this one out of the way first because it is one of the most important. Many of those following this have seen that I am finally after almost 4 years of lack of work changing industries and going back on the day job grind. Even though many express that we should not pay them after all that, I would rather get them the winnings and they will never be welcome at one of our events again. I will continue to update the post dedicated to the Chicago event as more info comes. Giveaways We have been doing a ton of giveaways this summer thanks to our friends at Naughty Dog, Pop Cap, and more. Friday we will draw the winner for The Legendary Destiny Giveaway and Monday for the The Shooters Get Weird Giveaway. We also have given away several copies of The Last of Us Remastered. Expect to see continued support and giveaways via the PunchTab Contest App and on our live streams at Twitch. Major Overhaul Inbound Look guys we know 99% of the community has hated the site layout, vbulletin and our attempt to get a system to better track war stats. With that being said over the next few weeks we will be converting to Invision Power Board. We are doing this for several reasons. First and foremost design wise it is much easier to work with and the site design will be much more appealing when complete. We are bringing in Dan who helped with the original SOF Studios design to help with the page and skin designs. Our graphics team is working on an updated look on UF as well. This will be more inviting to PlayStation Players as they visit Urgent Fury for Competition and other activities. One of the many additions will be a Live Streaming portal where members can share their streams and watch other streams from community members as well as our featured streams by developers, PlayStation and Partners. We are adding a revamped video gallery from what we have now. Inadub over at Happy Thumbs Gaming will be featuring their content as well as a few other of our friends. Community Members will be able to submit videos as well for everyone to enjoy. With this conversion, we will no longer have a system to track wars for the time being. Next year we will focus on working with a developer to design a system exactly how we want it to schedule and track leagues, tournaments, etc. We want to build this right so that once launched, every user will be able to showcase what events they played in and how they did. Clans will have full on stats and we can keep an on going leaderboard for those teams and clans competing at Urgent Fury. We have not forgotten about the complaints about the ads. While the ads have covered over half of our monthly costs for the server, many still do not want ads. We get it, we really do. We are going to continue to offer a way for you to remove the ads. IPB has a built in e commerce system that will let you support UF without the pesky ads. The rate will be the same we have now which is $2 per month or $20 per year. We have had several take advantage of this and it will be available day one of the new site launch. We are also offering direct payment now, PayPal is not required. We will however still offer PayPal as an option. All content from the current site will carry over and we will be reorganizing everything before bringing the site online. This will include archiving sections, consolidating some forums and having dedicated forums for the games we will be offering competitions for. Based on the Conversion process, your passwords will not have to be reset either. The Future of Urgent Fury Many are wondering where are we going from here? Well we have a pretty small set of goals, some hefty, some simple but all with one outcome. Our focus for the remainder of the year will be on Destiny and possibly COD: Advanced Warfighter. Cntry and Money are working on a Battlefield 4 event now that the support for it is there. We have a pretty good size group that wants to play this so we are going to give it a shot. Our primary focus will be league style play similar to the good old UF: Black days with an ongoing monthly event for teams to compete in and smaller tournament events built around the same games. Our Live Streaming has been ramped up with the help of a whole new streaming team and we have a few other surprises in store. We will bring back live events in the future but for now our only plans will be at PAX South in San Antonio at the end of January 2015. So to sum it up, once again thanks for all that have stood by Urgent Fury through our trials and tribulations and here is to a bright future. We hope you guys will enjoy what we have in store this fall and welcome many of the new faces coming.
  15. Well that did not take long... If gamers are not going to understand what happened it is what it is. I am paying the players out of my pocket once I start my new job this month. We have moved forward and at least Sony has our back on that subject. It is not the first time something like this has happened and probably wont be the last. Look at EGL waiting almost 2 years to payout their winnings to gamers while continuing to run events. Anyway back on topic.
  16. I think you misread what I said. I said there are no games that provide clan style competitive gaming. Destiny is kinda close, but times have changed. We cannot depend on just clans. I also can tell you we are not going to do anything XBox related. Our focus is on PS4 and will continue that way. We have so much support thanks to Sony, there is no reason to over extend ourselves once again to try and have an XBox event. But as I mentioned we have a plan for this fall and we will see where it takes us.
  17. While this may work, there are no games that support clan gaming from the past on the horizon. We have realigned our focus to that which is driven by our partnership with PlayStation. We will still offer a variety of games and a major overhaul for UF is coming by the end of the year before PAX South. Our focus will be heavily on Destiny this fall. That may be the only game we use out of the releases this fall, maybe COD but I do not have high hopes for that franchise at this point based on what I have seen. Cntry and Money are working on Battlefield 4 as there is a request to get a tournament for it going, but most of our tournaments are going to be a league style for the foreseeable future. We are in a unique position with our relationship with PlayStation and we will continue to follow the roadmap that we have put together with them. This is how we are going to keep UF moving. It will also expose many new competitive players to our style of gaming. That in turn will be the opportunity to teach the new generation of gamers about competition with long term teammates vs a different team for every event. I will continue to monitor this thread to see where it goes, it is a great idea, and there would need to be a large participation for it to work.
  18. shane

    Hey!

Until H Hour is funded it will not be on our radar. As it stands it wont be until late 2015 or 2016 even if they got their funding today, before the game would release.
  19. Not sure what you are mean by this, but if you are talking about the giveaway, the Bundle was donated to us by a friend of mine. The guide is provided by BradyGames and we are providing the expansion pass and the year of Plus.
  20. shane

    Hey!

Hey D Jay, We currently have about 12 clans interested in a league for BF4, our BF4 admins BgCntry and Money are on vacation and are going to get to work on it the first week of Aug now that we are seeing some interest again. Our other focus will be Destiny for the time being... once again welcome order a beer and get comfortable.
  21. We are just waiting for Destiny to launch so we can get some tourneys going... there is still a possibility of some BF4 events one Bgcntry gets settled in his new station in Alaska
  22. We on this like white on rice, we will be rolling with tourneys this fall and we are working very close with PlayStation on providing feedback on the beta. Feel free to join us this weekend while we are streaming for watch live http://www.twitch.tv/urgentfury Overall the gameplay is pretty well balanced (though you make a good point about the levels) I will say that even at a lower level if you get a hold of the right gun its over for the other person. Hit detection is pretty well right on, and the visuals are breathtaking. Some of the guys in Uprising noticed you can go back and forth between your character on PS3 and PS4. That is pretty kool, I wonder if it works cross platform (I doubt it will carry over but that would be pretty sweet too.)
  23. When It comes to follow through, I have been quite up front with the situation at hand... and many of the community members here have not been too keen on your posting tone. Do I understand the frustration, of course I do... do you have $15k sitting around? Nor do I, we were depending on someone to follow through and did not... So to rectify this, I have taken a full time job. Is everyone going to get paid all at once, no... I will be paying teams as I get paid while still making sure that I can cover my personal bills and eat a little. This is coming direct from my pocket to the teams, and I am going to be working in the oil field to get it paid. Luckily I had an opportunity finally come through to pay this. Most other sites would have just told everyone ohh well, even EGL waiting almost three years and ran 4 more events before paying teams which is total BS. But if you go back and read how you posted you can understand what you call be diligent has come of as abrasive in nature. Simple as that. Once I have an idea on when a team is going to get paid I will post a schedule... we have spent the last few months just trying to undo the damage done by members of the first place team with our accounts being hacked, the site being attacked, etc. I am the go to person for this, so no I am not going to pass it on to someone else, but keep in mind if I am slow to respond I am not ignoring anyone, I am either working traveling or may not have an answer to the question yet.
