Attention all UF forum freaks! From now until 03-31-08, we invite all Sig-maniacs to dictate new looks for the creators and Staff members of UF. The contest will run through this month, but your creation can potentially be worn by the UF Staff for the entire regular season and playoff stint of both UF Black V and The UF Crucible-2! Here are your guidelines: > You will make a new sig(s) for any of the UF Staff and creators of your choosing. This includes UF creators Undertow and Sniper, Staff Leader Smokeosama and Staff members Viper, Goat, RedOctober, Rooster, UncleSid25, Neo-X and Sequoyah. You can make one for a member of your choosing, make a sig for all of them, or make multiple sigs for one person. The choice is solely up to you. > Your sig can be no more than 550 pixels wide and 250 pixels tall. > Common forum rules apply. Please no nudity, partial nudity, profanity or obscenities at all. This will simply disqualify your submission. > Use your knowledge of the Staff member or be creative with their name, visually. > You may use the UF logo on these sigs in any fashion that you see fit, as long as the logo is properly cared for. TEXT REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SIG YOU SUBMIT: > You are to make sure the NAME of the Staff member is on the sig itself. > You are to put that person's TITLE in/on the sig. - Undertow, Sniper = UF Creator - Smokeosama = UF Staff Leader - All the rest = UF Staff > Anywhere on the sig, in SMALL LETTERING, you are allowed to put "sig by ________" and add your clan tag and name only. Please make this one of the minor attractions on your sig. > There is to be NO OTHER TEXT involved in the sig itself. No quotes, no slogans. HOW TO SUBMIT: You will submit your sig(s) on this thread by way of REPLY. For this reason, please DO NOT REPLY to this thread for any other reason other than to submit a created sig. All participants will have until 03-31-08 at 11:59pm CST to submit. After that, the thread will be locked and all submissions will be over. At that point, the entire UF Staff will look at what has been submitted for each of their names and each individual will pick their favorite out of the bunch. They will wear your sig for the entire duration of both UF Black V and The UF Crucible. Winners will also be announced over the Urgent Frequency Podcast by Commander Fury GRAND PRIZE: The UF Staff will also convene to pick the NUMBER ONE TOP sig design that we feel blew all the others away. The winner of this decision will get a phone call from Commander Fury himself so he/she can have a one-liner taped by Fury to be played randomly over several future podcasts......Think "Hey, this is so-and-so from the so-and-so clan, and you're listening to Urgent Frequency!" The new rules for both the upcoming UF Black V and The UF Crucible-2 are now up in their respective sections. For those looking forward to applying for these upcoming tourneys later this evening, it would do you well to take a gander at these rules, as some have been updated and altered.

Rules are currently being adjusted for BOTH the Crucible and Black. Given the time to do this, the sign-ups will be up either tonight or tomorrow evening. Being the prime "adjuster" of these rules, I think I can safely say it will most likely be Sunday evening.

I knew about the 'tooths and mammoths......but those did look like dinosaurs in the previews. I don't know, either way, I didn't have a pull to go see this movie.

It SHOULD have gotten slammed in reviews. NOTHING of those previews made sense in any kind of time line. Sabretoothed Tigers......Mammoths......repitlian looking dinosaurs.....and then these great mayan-like temples. Do ANY of these things really intersect in the history of the world??

Nah....LOL. Because i KNOW....SOMEWHERE out there there's gonna be some psycho moron who takes things a LITTLE too far and would come there to just shoot someone. I have ENOUGH disgruntled players and clans out there who were removed from UF who STILL claim "it wasn't fair!" that I simply don't trust my safety to......LOL

Looks like we have a couple characters leaving their trademark whiny comments mixed with the GOOD comments in the Dv8 News on YouTube. Some people REALLY can't ever seem to let go of the WRONG stories, sometimes. BTW, the one on there named "apcstretchnuts" was also the one I had to get a physical police restraining order on because of peculiar online threats. That same person came to me apologizing, SWEARING, in fact, that he would never bother me or regard me again. Actually....he said that about 3 or 4 times already....LOL And ps.....for those that LIKE to try and think they're getting "witty" in their sarcasm by calling me "Underblow" or something......they REALLY need to get a new bag. I have FRIENDS here in the UF Community that come up with better ones than that. LOL!

Very nice to finally recognize winners in there tourneys. Good job [iG] Both clans certainly did a good job during the playoffs to get to where you are. Very nice work.

Seeing as both Black IV and the first UF Crucible for the PS3 will be coming to a close this week, we'll be rolling out the sign-up sections for Black V and Crucible-2 beginning Saturday, March 8th. These will be the last two evaluation tourneys we're rolling out before the first TACMAP tourney, Urgent Fury: Riot Act, will be rolled out for CoD4 on the PS3. Plans are UNCERTAIN for a Black VI tournament at this time, depending on demand. * Please note, this does not mean there will not be a Crucible-3.....we're just saying that Crucible-2 will be the Crucible tourney that heralds the first CoD4 / PS3 TACMAP Tourney. And as we have stated with our re-focus of all things UF here, anyone who has NOT completed a Crucible tourney will be INELIGIBLE for the first 13-week Tacmap tourney, UF: Riot Act, for CoD4. And yes, this includes any and all veteran clans. Just as Black was a gateway into Socom TacMap tourneys, so too is Crucible YOUR gateway into the CoD4 Tacmap tourneys. We would like to thank you for participating in a VERY smoothly run Black IV tourney and we thank all clans who participated in our first Crucible tourney. Urgent Fury learned much from the first tour and our second will prove to be much improved and only smoother than the first.
