    If your dad was in Iraq, and you had an opportunity to talk to him, what lengths would you go to? This is bullshit, regardless how you slice it. The teachers involved should have given the child not only the time, but a private setting to hold the convo. There is a chance that child may never see his father again, and at what level is it worth it to deny him that opportunity? I don't know about you, but I would feel like one large ass if I was the teacher of this boy and his father didn't make it out of combat alive. Both my 12 ad 14 yr old daughters have cell phones. The older one HAS abused the privelidge at school, but instead of just taking it away, we turned her into the school principal. They have them because between Orchestra, Ballet, and cheerleading they lead very active after school lives. And I want them to have the ability to notify authorities in situations where they are in danger. Lets face it, we don't live in the same time and place we used to.

    It also has some to do with locale. If you are in a smaller market, then the personality of the company would deff. be one one of neighborhood guy. Proffesionalism may be more of a goal, and IMO if you name the company after yourself, well it just doesn't sound as proffesional. Phone book location is important as mentioned above.     Well......I was out of town all weekend, and didn't get to watch the draft at all. To say I was shocked to see that the Chiefs picked up Glenn Dorsey would have been an understatement. We had 13 picks, so it isn't any wonder that the Chiefs could fill some holes, but I still never imagined they would have nailed it down like this. Rd 1 DT Glenn Dorsey (some say THE best player available in the draft) Rd 1 OT Branden Albert (the third best LT available; anything will be an improvemnet) Rd 2 CB Brandon Flowers (kid smacks the shit out of anyone coming near the ball) Rd 3 RB Jamaal Charles ( Very fast. Nice compliment to LJ. ) Rd 3 TE Brad Cottam (basically another offensive linemen; 6'7", 270) Rd 3 S DaJuan Morgan ( don't know much about him; back up/special teams) Rd 4 WR Will Franklin (kid was great at MU, very fast and should break into the lineup) Rd 5 CB Brandon Carr ( another special teams player) Rd 6 OL Barry Richardson (this guy has a chance to play guard this season) Rd 6 WR Kevin Robinson (This guy WILL be a stud Return guy. Set an NCAA record in Return TD's.) Rd 7 DE Brian Johnston (May steal some play time because of Jarred Allen trade) Rd 7 TE Michael Merritt ( Another blocking TE) Over-all, we pulled some really good kids, and will have a chance to at least compete at a proffesional level this season. Thanks Al Davis, without you takin McFadden, we would have traded down!

    You can check under the PS3 network settings to see what nat type your running. Another thing I suggest is running a Network test. Not only will you see your NAT type ( 1 or 2 is what you need) but it may refresh your connection enough to straighten everything out without you having to manipulate the settings on your router/ modem.

    OK, Iv'e played Devil's Advocate with the possibilities of the online mode for this release before, and will do so now. Here's my first concern: So like spawning to be greeted to Noob Tubes? I just think the children will ruin this for everyone. If you are tryin to set up an organized game to be blown to shit as soon as you enter the room, well that will get old fast. While the phone being available to call teammates is a great idea, the ability to call the enemy is NOT. In no way do I want a bunch of 12 yr old kids constantly calling a players phone (and I can only assume the player wont have any idea who's calling till they answer it) distracting them from what they are there for. All that said, I am STILL really excited for the game, and see that there is a ton of potential for not just clan play but Urban Fury. The ability to use Free Mode in any way deemed fit opens up new doors to our gaming experience. I just hope that the fucktards don't ruin it for everyone. I guess we will find out soon enough!
