Hawk! what's sup! don't see you round here much anymore? anyway I've always though of Hollow as a great stand up clan. I also think Mets is a onehellofaguy.. so I'm sure the Knights will do good things. Hope to be shooting it up with both of your clans soon.

Silver is the best,. Copper is second followed by Gold and then Aluminum. Use of Copper is most prevalent since its second best and cheaper than Silver. Gold is used often in interconnects only because it is the most resistant to corrosion. I just bought Forza, just this Sunday. It was just $20 and included all the DLC. If there was ever a serious thought of UF doing a non shooter game for a racer this game is the best I’ve seen. Besides great titles like Madden (which I admit I have never really got into the sports offerings) or Tiger which is one I like and can be a nice break from shooters from time to time as well as Hold em Poker, another just fun game with friends if you can keep pinheads that go hold in before the flop every single time out of the game, Forza is simply a well done race game. I played it straight for like three hours before having to switch to the Ps3 to get my quick hour fix on Socom followed by my usual two hour RBV2 hunting. Anyway I really liked it.. I got to put some time in and get my ride pimped the way I want it though, Also, I hit a brick wall for a bit before giving it a rest till I’m ready to try again on a certain dick weed AI driver I got to beat to continue on. I’ve played several racer games, the best of which was Nascar3 on the PC with a nice all metal steering wheel and foot pedals. The one thing that I don’t like is using the controller.. The deal of $20 is probably going to wind up costing me close to three bills because “I JUST HAVE TO HAVE†a decent steering wheel controller, and no it can’t be the cheap one.. the one I want cost more than a new console. Anyway, if I bite the bullet spend the bucks get the wheel and give it fifty hours of practice I could easily see myself pushing the limit in some Box Forza online races bumping Chili’s rear making his car loose enough to spin out and hit the wall on turn three taking out Big Money in the process. p.s. sorry to see Xbox go, not that sorry COD is taking a back seat lately and would be happy if we find a new Xbox game (preferably a decent team shooter but not opposed to something different) that revives the idea of including something for the box here at UF.

LOL the oldest scam in the books.. Ok well first off there is a huge difference in Coax cable for example.. RG-6 quad shielded cable is designed for RF distribution whereas RG-59 is designed for video CCTV distribution using the thinner non shielded 59 that they sell at Menards for Cable or Sat will give you a poor RF signal transfer. But that’s about where it ends. Companies such as Monster have been using the comparison scam at retailers for years.. often you see two TV’s side by side one claiming Monster HDMI the other a less expensive cable.. suggesting it to is HDMI.. its often not. http://www.gizmorepublic.com/accessories/monster-hdmi-cable-scam-830 yeah HDMI in one input and composite in the other.. No wonder they look different.. I had to laugh when I looked behind a set at a Best Buy recently and noticed the one they claimed Monster HDMI didn’t even use a Monster cable and used a cheap HDMI cable instead. LOL! But to be fair there is a difference, it isn’t something you will see nor hear, the difference lies in the shielding, for home users its not a concern. Where Monster interlinks or highly expensive cabling and interconnects shine is in studio or pro recording. Electronic equipment produce magnetic fields.. pack enough equipment around each other and slight high freq. noise, white sound, picture interference, low band drops, power interference.. etc. etc.. all occur, again its noting you can hear nor see.. but its there and cheap cables will make sure of it.. So if you’re a Video or Audio production professional then yes I would go with expensive high shielded interconnects.. if you’re a gamer hooking your PS3 to your HDMI set.. then don’t buy into their bullshit.

Walmart often sells discontinued models.. since Vizio’s only 37†LCD offering is now discontinued then I’m suspecting you are referring to the VX37L or VW37L. Vizio is one of the stronger, lower priced flat panel suppliers. This model can be found for $800 or so just about everywhere they are still in stock…definitely not bad for a 37″ LCD HDTV. Vizio is making a name for itself in the value buy flat panel category and providing a relatively good LCD set for a low price. Some notes on the stats.. “This unit is defiantly only 720p resolution although as usual it can upscale. This isn’t that big of a concern at a size of 37†(you won’t notice the difference) if it was 47 or larger then I would prefer a native 1080p. Contrast ratio is 1000 to 1, again this is really not bad for the price, newer models however have higher contrast ratios. My new top five deals for Plasmas/LCD are 1) Panny TH-50PZ 2) Toshiba REGZA 42 3) Sony KDL-52W 4) Panny TH-42PZ 5) Sharp LC-42D Panny still leading on the Plasma end, Toshiba still leads on LCD’s. But Sharp and a new comer Syntax Olevia is looking good. Samsung’s still get a nod for bang for the buck.. their warrantee system still sucks though and keeps them out of my top value list.

Seth is correct it isn't connection speed, it's the latency caused by hops. A trace route test shows how many hops were taken at the given time for the packet sent the test will rarely give the same results twice. to many variables. Like was said your speed has no bearing. its all about latency and packet loss which is a result of hop count. Sure you could do a trace test, but what good is it? the net decides the route- not your IP, your provider, your speed, your router, your modem, your connection.. THE NET decides. Not a thing you can do about it. I'm working on a new report which concerns a whole other issue but ties together with every thing else. It focuses on multiple console accounts, the problem with keeping two master accounts on the same console. The reason having as many sub accounts under one master works just fine. How DNAS came about and some opinions and theories on the use of console mac address in authentication. Since its long, when its done, I'll post it in the thread on stats and ping rates I started.. its part of my attempt to only goat post on one thread which I started and not elsewhere. LOL.

At least they are trying to eliminate lag switch use, don't expect them to tell us how, it would be like giving out the keys to the safe.. they are in a pickle, divulging too much info may result in providing information on how to circumvent their effort.. providing too little info will result in not letting the honest folks know how to correctly set up their connections. It's a dilemma.

yes enabling UPnP on your router and console means a request sent by the console to the router to open needed ports is accepted while still retaining firewall and port security for other connected devices.. DMZ opens all ports and disables firewall for the connected device.. Using it however requires you take the necessary steps to insure only your console is DMZ'd and not any PC that is also connected to the router. In order to insure this you have to take the steps to make sure your console always receives the same IP from DHCP. An easy way to do this is manually assign a IP out of the Routers DHCP range to the console and then specify the assigned IP of the console as the IP to DMZ. If I lost you? read the report I posted which goes into more detail on how to do this. Running through a router without UPnP enabled will cause problems with mikes, hit detection and connectivity since the firewall may prevent needed ports from opening on request packets.

Welll if you Google "Socom ports needed" then you will find your answer or you could just come straight to the source since the first hit at google will be the info sheet I did. LOL. Sony (and Socom for the matter use these) The PS3 doesn't matter and Socom Confrontation doesn't either it's the same ports. If you have UPnP enable then your router should automatically open the ports or else you could DMZ the IP.. or you could.. Just goat to Goat's Definitive info sheet for Socom's servers. Lag switches are a thing of the past with Socom. That's what the disconnect icon at the top of the screen is. It's detecting a sudden drop in ping rate according to Dat. That makes my day!! bro! good news then. and its about time.. now if they could just do away with hit detection latency and interpolation.. I'd be even happier.

What's to stop anyone from getting on the phone and talking with their clan mates.. hell you can even conference call up to 16 people with a bus conference system. For those that will spend anything to cheat. LOL.. using the PSN message system doesn't do anything that wasn't already available. How long before lag switche make a come back or before some one finds a glitch to utilize? It's a fact of gaming.. For us its always been about CHOOSING NOT TO CHEAT. Honor above all.

Clan mates, [PBK] Nelz, then our leader [PBK]Money.. I went 2-0 first game.. but then got my ass handed to me the next one going 1-3.. two by team mate [pbk] spud, the little sneaky byotch.. LOL. on a side note, going back to the claymore thread.. my first attempt was total disaster.. realizing I had to look basically straight down to place them I did manage to put three clays is well placed positions in the demo area.. and sure enough two enemies came in the large opening and one down the stairs (terrorist side demo) you guys know it by now two entry back room with the stairwell. I hid behind the larger cargo boxes and waited, but my mistake was improper quick swap. I thought it was rifle and detonator. But choosing the two readies is a bit tricky, holding the button while placing the d pad in just the right position and managing to click action being sure you still have the rifle as one and now the detonator is a pain in the arse and something that will just take practice to get right. At any rate,,, I had them and I quick swapped and cliicked away.. You guessed it it wasn't the detonator it was still the claymores.. in a frantic I was trying to get the detonator when spud walked right up to me and stuck a knife in my back.. to add insult I had to listen to him laugh and tell nelz and money.. "HA HA Goat had just got the detonator out and I knifed his sorry ass!!! MAN that's was fun..." > > ??? Just wait!! I'll get you spud!!! and your little dog too~!!
