I know you've all seen me poke fun at pop-outs. Well, I WILL do one here and there. So I'm a little hypocritical! I will maintain that just a touch of popout is much more stylistic that having half of the sig hanging out and looking flat lol what do you think?

I'm in total agreement with Irish. My gaming time has gone way down because of lack of anything BUT sodumb. I feel cheated by slantsix and sony for this crappy product, but they are fully aware that this is one of the only industries besides the music industry where they can release pure crap and retain a loyal fanbase. I will NOT be buying the DLC, and I may play socom more than other games until something better comes out, but they will not get another dime out of me. And shame on you fanboys who keep them in business and ENCOURAGE them to release crap like this by buying half-assed add-ons, etc. I mean seriously...if you go to a restaurant and order a steak and it comes out half raw and covered in ketchup...would you eat it, and then pay for seconds? Hopefully you're not THAT stupid. So please...don't let them get away with squeezing more money out of the idiots than necessary, because then other companies would half-ass their games and we'd get screwed left and right (you know...kind of like paying 19.99 for a music CD with one good song).

I just don't understand why people bitch and moan on these forums and others (including the forums their staff frequents) when it obviously has no effect. They put out a faulty game, fail to deliver on promises, promise free DLC then make you pay for it.... WHy don't the masses do something more effective? Go to the slant six site, grab their email, and flood it with their complaints? This will either get them to listen, or change their company email. Either way, you make them get off their fat asses and DO something. info@slantsixgames.com While you're at it, go flood the sony emails, snail mail, and phone lines and state very clearly that the financial suckiness of socom was NOT because of the game type but because of the developers and support. Unfortunately, we see more and more 1st player games and other games coming out because those developers put out better product. If you don't stand up for 3rd player or a true Socom style game, our fanbase will get lost in the financial statistics because the bigwigs either don't realize or don't care that the numbers are down because they put these incompetent bastards at the helm of this franchise.

Whitesky from iMR all the way. He does 3D more effectively, his websites are generally different fundimentally. They don't all look flat and the same as some other developers who use the same elements over and over. Go with Whitesky. Tell him I sent ya. oh and in addition to the sites that Red listed, he did the SHadow Ops site at www.shadowops.org

well, you have to understand that the pda functions for business and such were everything i needed, and w/out the craptastic quality or problems of the blackberry or other pda's. So for my calendar, notes, reminders, labeled numbers, the way the voicemail pops up with the name even if the phone doesn't ring, etc etc...was huge. Saved me a bunch of time and other things. Definitely worth it

its not like you forked out that much money, i had the iphone when it first came out, much more expensive. then they price dropped, and EVERYone had lol it USED to be a status thing, but alas, no more. still, love the phone
