actually, we have a house rented in north tahoe, and a pontoon boat for slow cruising the lake. and i live in wyoming chili...if i can swim in these lake, i can pretty much swim anywhere. the ice just left the lake outside of town about 2 months ago!! No doubt!!!

Man, it looks like a few of you missed the point of the question. It wasn't if SF or TEK came first, it was if the games were befire the anime. Neo, you just got three cool points back with three movies on that list. Akira, Bubblegum, and Fist. ;D I also gotta agree with Path aboot most anime sucking it up because of the over the top emotion. Also about the stupid ass 50 move combos you can't get out of. Killer Instinct was horrible because of that. How many times do you see more than a 3-4 move/punch combo. Almost NEVER!!!! Again Tekken > SF

from everything I've been hearing out of Ronin participants, I think I definatly missed out. Like Red, I love the idea of 1-3 man tournaments. I didn't play this time around, because I didn't believe I would have the time. IMO, I like double elim format a little better, but whatever works works for me. I didn't read all the rules and match set-ups, so I didn't know it was TDM. FFA would probably be a little cooler, then you can try an bait/psyche out your opponent.

My boss is from New Zealand. He stil lhas family and property there. We've been talking about a trip there. Found this picture of Nacku, his boss, and Chili! man those things are nasty. There's video on that site that show the guys that put slicks on them for streets and race like that. Even if I owned one I would putt around like it was some cheap polaris 400. ;D

No way. If you have people over at your house regularly' date=' the Wii is the way to go. In our house it has replaced board games almost entirely. When people come over they wanna play, Mario Party, Wii play or sports, Super smash brothers, and all those other cool party games. LOL. That is funny stuff. I haven't gotten around to buying that game yet. Mostly due to the no voice support. If I do buy it, it'll be mostly for when my nephews and nieces come over to hang out. I might consider playing in a race league. I'm about to play in one Chili is starting for Forza 2 on X-box. Racing games are one of my favorite genre's. I'm kinda picky though, mostly I love sim racing.

Agree. It all starts wiht those two QB's. If you don't have well above average athletic talent there, probably is not that effective. I dunno, that video was not really that impresive either. Looked like if the D-Line was playing more of a contain and have smart fast linebackers to eat up those screens. Wait for their '08 season results. Thats what I'm getting at. In smaller market HS, you have large talent gaps. So I'm sure they destroy some teams, but teams with a little depth probably handle them. Other than you don't need well above average talent at the qb. It looks like you could have just decent qb's since most of those throws are 5-15 yarders. Just make sure one of them can run, is all you'd need. Hell, I might try an convince the guy I help head coach to run that in 5th grade midget for shits and giggles. ;D

Well I watched the vid about 5 times, and it looks like they do kinda have a perma screen set up. Looks like on one side they always have someone swing out of the backfield, with a couple recievers running short routes 3-7 yrds, to become blockers if needed. I think it's pretty inventive, but I don't see it working at a higher level than HS. College and Pro linebackers are way too fast, and way too smart for it to work. Confusion seems to be the major focal point of the offense, but you can see that even those HSers sniffed out that swing pass and crossing stuff quite a few times. No way would that work on the goaline in bigger markets, like Texas. I'm just glad to see that guys are still trying to think outside the box in terms of schemes.

The way my boss talks about NZ, you'd think it was, Afliction. He's always talking about skiing on one end of the island then driving to the other end for some diving/ hiking, etc. I'm pretty amped about going to check it out.

We refuse to have a 3rd outside party come in and record this event. Some of the footage may reveal some of our tactics, and with so many other tourneys looming out there, we don't want to give anything away. Thats what I do. Wasn't there a section on PP called Reading railroad? I'm gonna have to go look it up. I know they had a few different segments on PP, I just can't remember any of them.

You got a point TOol, but it looks like he ws stuck in traffic there. When I posted this vid awhile back there was more at the beginning, and I thought he had tried to maybe pull off, but that car in front of him was in the way.
