Sure, not a problem. UF will just charge each clan about $300.oo for an entry fee on the next TACMAP. I'll let you all know how Lasik is after that then.

This is the second time in two weeks that someone from the UF community is stating that when they try to view the UF: Black Rules post or section, they are BLOCKED and cannot view it. Has this or is this happening to anyone else?

So.....I just went to Pearl Vision this past Monday to get my first pair of soft contact lenses. After getting fitted for them and getting tested, they had a pair there that fit my prescription and size, so I was able to walk out with a pair of month-long soft lenses. They told me to come back in a week to make sure I like them and then they can order me a 6-month supply at a certain price. I go to sites like 1800contacts and such and see that I can order lenses online a lot cheaper than going back to Pearl. The prescription printed on each contact lens box makes it easy to order the correct ones. My question is....has anyone done this before? Just go to a vision center JUST to get tested, find out your prescription, and then get your lenses online instead of going back to the vision center to buy them? I'm not afraid to buy lenses online, as it will be the same brand of lenses that I have on now, it's just that I didn't know if it's kosher to get my FIRST 6-month supply this way....or if I should just get it the first time from the vision center. Testimonials would be appreciated. Thanks! - TOW

As a creator here at UF, I have the honor (and curse) of playing in every TACMAP tourney UF has ever presented. Honor, because the TACMAPS are the creme de la creme of online tourneys. Curse, because some say that no subsequent TACMAPS they enter into quite compare to their first one...sort of like the first time you got laid. However...I'm the optimist, I guess. Sure, I'll remember my first time getting laid and likely always will...but I've learned quite a few things since then and have a MUCH better time of it as the years go by. And I feel the same way about the TACMAP tourneys. Sure, the first time will always be magical, but with each new TACMAP tourney, I'm always excited about seeing the recurring opposition, to see how they've either gotten better or possibly regressed a bit, as well as to see if my own clan will do better than in previous TACMAP tourneys...which is what a clan should always aim for. Looking forward to seeing you all out there...and thanks for coming back to the action of the 'Big Game!'
