Yeah and even though it's not right GTA gets blamed for every violent thing that happens at schools. I would be pretty surprised if this doesn't make nation wide news. The only reason it might not is because all that does is sell more copies. I felt a little dirty playing it and I was not expecting that at all. It's one thing to shoot cops in GTA at least they are shooting back at you. In the airport mission you are just mowing down innocent unarmed civilians.

I am leaving the house around 12:15 or so to hopefully jump in the end of the line when it's almost gone. I didn't reserve mine at game stop for the reasons you experienced and many more. As long as there are alternatives to game stop I will avoid ever going there. 11:14 here on the west coast 45 minutes to go.

It would be my guess that since you completed hell week before boot camp was rolled out that you guys are in the clear. Then again that's just a guess. lol

http://kotaku.com/5399552/northeast-us-gamestops-selling-modern-warfare-2-early GameStops in Northeastern states such as New York, Pennsylvania, and Ohio are selling Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 early, granted special dispensation from Activision due to street-breaking mom-and-pop stores. Here in Atlanta we still have to wait until Monday's midnight launch to pick up Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, but lucky folks in several Northeastern states are getting their copies earlier. According to a GameStop employee I spoke to in Bowling Green, Ohio, Activision granted certain area stores special permission to sell the game early, in order to stem the tide of lost customers picking their copies up early from local mom and pop stores. The employee actually greeted me with "Thank you for calling GameStop, where you can pick up Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2." Calls to my local GameStop stores were greeted with claims of jealousy and invitations to come by Monday night to pick up my copy. Dammit. Thanks to C & C Games for sending us a copy of their receipt, and everyone in New York and Pennsylvania who sent in tips. Lucky bastards. The comment section would be an excellent place for you to bitch about the general unfairness of all of this.

A guy I know got it from a store in the mall by his house. He asked why they were selling it early and they simply said they wanted to make money off of it before game stop starts selling it.

The EMP has the power of a nuke without all the fire and such. It knocks out all power and communication devices, computers etc. -
I would love to have new maps and this DLC has a couple of them. There are some classic maps that are worth a revive though IMO.

No I didn't go back to Socom because it had Socom on the front. I went back for the game play. The graphics were tough to take after looking at something like MW but it was worth it for me. I expect to do the same thing with Confrontation in time as bad as that game is. Games like MW and MAG can't keep me for long because I am a Socomer. Socom offers things that MW doesn't it's pretty much that simple for me.

I agree I think it's just speculation at this point. No one really knows because they haven't talked about it. In Socom if you are in a clan and want to copy my tag you would have to leave the game go to the menu leave your clan make a new clan to copy my tag. It's a drawn out process that just isn't worth the time. This explains why I have seen people copy tags in MW and haven't seen it in Socom. Don't get me wrong I am going to buy the game in fact it's already paid for. It's just the little things that all add up to me knowing I won't have long term interest in this game. I played MW for about 3 months before I went back to S3/CA. I have played MW on occasion since then but nothing regular.

Well for instance let's say you Snowbud and a few other Night Stalker or playing some MW. There is a guy in the room who wants to be a joker or wants people to think he is with you while he acts a fool and runs off at the mouth. All he has to do is put on your tag and now to anyone who is not the wiser he is with you. I just don't like the fact that anyone that wants to wear any tag they want can do it in an instant.

Bottom line is IMO I have my reason for liking the view the way I do and you have your reasons for liking the view you do. We can sit here and debate our sides till we are blue in the face but one is not going to convert the other. There are other things here and there that I prefer in Socom as compared to MW and I'm sure the opposite is true for you. Either way you like your style of game and I like mine. I will dabble with MW2 but I doubt I will play it for any length of time because I prefer my style of game. I can tell you this if there was a decent game of Socom out right now I would not even buy MW2 or MAG. The only other game I would need to make my gaming life complete would be GT5.
