A contract is a contract- The kid signed up, no one made him do anything. I doubt he bitched when he got his signing bonus. If you want to be in a pro sport in the military be a boxer... Here are a few ball players that served our country proudly with out ANY protest and did just fine in the hall of fame: Ted Williams Stan Musial Bob Feller Granted those were folks already in baseball who joined the fight.. But the mind set has totally changed in SOME of our younger military folks. In SOME cases its what do I get out of this (money, loans, education) and they hope to not have to face the reality that they are in the military. Yes you have a job but you are a SOLDIER, SALIOR OR MARINE. Not a goddamn ball player who gets paid by the navy to run bases for 5 years. I do like the idea mentioned above as a recruiter in SOME aspects... But If I was a kid heading into a recruiting station I would want to talk to a sarge who has been to a theater (not one where they serve pop corn), will tell me my options, and know he has been in the dirt... I would care less about a star ball player who tried to ditch out to play ball. IMO

Some great things just dont mix... I mean take for example: your girlfriend... and your striper friend... Sure in fantasy they may SOUND good together but they are really pleasures meant to be enjoyed one at a time. Dont get me wrong though I have respect for those who chose to mix there candy and home cooking. To each his own ;D -

Not sure if I am for or against this... I would say it COULD be a good thing (being that there is some schmuck out there taking up MY bandwidth lol). But knowing the cable and communication companies- I could see the costs going WAY up for us gamers with out any control over it. I say free internet for everyone and IF I am going to pay any more then we need higher UPLOAD SPEEDS! oH AND Screw the cable companies and Any other service provider. *They advertise download speeds for a premium price- only you will most likely never achieve such speeds unless no one else is online in your area etc. Its like saying its only a 10 minute drive to work with out traffic... But 90% of the time it takes you 45 minutes to drive to work... How is that legal? *Everyone ups the download speed and ups the price, but leaves upload speeds as slow a dirt- What this means is gamers get screwed all around. You pay allot more, get very little more upload speed and the extra download speed you are paying for is getting sucked up by your neighbor who is downloading music and movies all day. I say go FIOS

One thing that made socom fun- no one cared about rank (because it was always broken lol)- Like the above said, give me my stats, clan function, community, rooms and leave the great goodness alone. vote NO on prop socom auto join- because it will water down the community IMO. I mean who cares if you beat someone for rank when you dont even know who you are going to play.. What the hell is your rank worth THEN anyways? That your a good at playing random (mostly clanless) folks is what it would be worth.

Nah Chili, renta cops get paid to do a job they hate. We dont get paid and we enjoy what we do. We do this so clans here can enjoy them selves, we bust our asses and give our free time with little to no recognition (because we dont care for any). We do it to give back to a place and clans that have made this such a great community to be apart of. US25

There were 30... Now stand 8 remaining teams in Urgent Fury Crucible. Those 8 teams have faced some of THE hottest teams and pulled out victories to bring them to the top 4 in their respective divisions. Some remain undefeated, many are confident, all have EARNED their place... I like that! ;D I say speak with the sales manager. Ask him why his salesman did not have the authority to keep you as a customer and give you a better deal than the guy down the street... Then tell em you want 2500 of the top, you will continue to shop with him in the future OR you will head to your local news station with a copy of your return cash guarantee to see if your editor friend would take some interest in the matter...
