I'm doing some mixing of in game footage and I have a question. I pulled off a 5 kill round on S&D and I don't want to cut the footage. But, I would like to play certain parts of it in "fast forward" mode. You know, play a kill at normal speed, fast forward sprint to where I got the next kill and then slow it down again. All 5 kills and winning the round would be 30 seconds long instead of the true 2 or 3 minutes it took. Anybody use this software that could help me out?

I honestly dont think Id care for that TV. I used to play with some pro gamers and most play on smaller TVs. The reasoning is "less head scanning back & forth" mean less chance of getting killed from somebody on the side. Seems like if you were looking to the far left on that TV you could miss something to the right. I game by choice on a 23 inch Samsung.

One thing I liked about the Black tournament we were in was that rules switched up each week. Sure the basics stayed the same but 1 week was no silent weapons, the other week all shotguns..... Maybe 1 week could be hardcore only? Another Air support on? Thats what I like about a game like this (with SO many options) being played here at UF, you NEVER know what can happen.

If you go to a webpage and you want to cut and paste a few sentences or whatever..... You highlight it like normal, once you let go of the mouse button it is AUTOMATICALLY saved. Go where you want to paste it and hit "ctrl + v" and its there. At least on my laptop thats how it works. So its like a "auto copy" feature.

"Get Your Own Bill" For the longest time my neighbor would bring his laptop out on the back deck and come site closest to my house (opposite of his patio furniture) just so he could connect to the internet via my internet. Â Him and I don't get along that well (he's an old retired guy and I have young kids). Â Anyways, I password protected it one day. Â He came out, sat down..... Â a minute later slammed the laptop close and went back inside. Â Bill hasn't spoke to me since. Â

As a HUGE Michigan fan...... I was disappointed seeing Hart smile and giggle as he turned the ball over both times. The offense & defense played WAY to good to have the game decided on those. It was a fun one to watch never the less......

Thats half of what I was talking about. The other half you wont know about cause you dont hear yourself as you talk. Your voice is really muffled (specially with the headset that came with Warhawk).

Im not a big fan of the wireless. I have yet to hear somebody who uses them sound clear. Seems like every "muffled" voice comes from a person who admits to using a wireless mic. Plus, they pick up EVERYTHING in the background making the "open mic" feature horrible. The first pair looks pretty sweet. I was always concerned about covering both ears that it would take away the game sounds from the tv but it looks like this one incorporates the game sounds in the headset. Im curious to see how this one works. Is there a seperate control that deals with the voices of other gamers? Most of the time I need the voices turned up a bit over the game sounds. This possible?

Thats the beauty of CoD4. Â Your able to get a few different gameplay styles due to the modes it offers. Â And each mode (depending on your personal preferences) offers a certain level of skill & gameplay. Â Search & Destroy is one of the most popular modes in the CoD series. Â For somebody like me who had been playing it (CoD2 was a launch game for the 360) a long time you hate to see what this mode brings, altered. I realize the Crucible is a "test" type thing. Â My original post was just to find out why..... Â Not to start a "dont question us" type thread. Â Im sure many of these things will be tweaked at a later date with discussion from clan reps and UF staff input.

Questions are good....... without them people would step back and think enough. I just thought the 2 lives with such short 3 minute rounds was... uh... interesting.

I was curious as to the thought behind allowing 2 lives in Search & Destroy. One of the things that makes this mode so great and popular is that fact that it ISNT respawn. With only 3 minute rounds, why would you allow a 2nd life? S&D is one of the most popular modes in the game for a reason, why change it?

Socom was "before its time"....... Being able to sign on with people all over the world and run around the same map and talk to them was awesome. Well, now all games do this and to be honest, with better maps & better graphics. The above is what made Socom great. And it was the clan features that continued to separate this game from any other created. I love that CoD4 is absolutely GREAT.... Cause ya know what? Its telling the people bringing us the next Socom that they better put the time in. You throw a clan / lobby system in CoD4 and I don't think you'd ever see me again.  But, clans have never been big in that series...... CoD4 is the best thing that could have happened to the Socom series. I have a feeling if Confrontation had been released as it was back then, you'd still be playing CoD4 today. But, like I've said in other threads..... The bar has been set with graphics & gameplay. Now combine it with a clan & lobby system and you have my ideal game.

Thats like asking which truck is better, the 2007 Ford F150 or the 2009..... I have yet to see and drive a 2009, but I LOVE my 2007 today

Yes, but its SO expensive. We have a guy in our clan that does that type of stuff for a living and he was able to get his hands on one for a bit and Im sure we'll have some decent videos in HDMI soon. How much are we talking, a couple hundred? uh... no. The device he has to evaluate for his company is just under $2700
