At the VERY end of this month is Lego Batman. A MUST have! (And Confrontation too, just a short time later. ) P.S. If you have kids (or are a kid at heart) and have not played Lego Indiana Jones ... you should try it. It is alot of fun.

Are you serious? Right now I want you to turn on 3 or CA and then tell me that you stand behind this statement. Maybe you haven't played in a while and just forgot because there is NO WAY you can be serious. The character is RIDICULOSLY slow! The sprint speed for Confrontation is the same as the regular speed for CA. Should have been CA speed (faster) with a sprint to speed them up even more. Now I just have to waste a finger on the damn sprint button. I liked how the character speed in CA was based on how hard your pushed forward. Really sux when they try to fix things that clearly aren't broken. I was really worried about the proximity thing, but I'm digging it. And I HATE that you can't follow friends into a room. Verdict to date: CoD with a few Socom tweaks and maps. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE JUST LISTEN AND GIVES US THE GOOD OLD DAYS??? :'(

My first thought when I heard he choose a woman ... "How original" McCain reeks of desperation. It's sad that he thinks choosing a woman as his running mate is going to win it for him. The ONLY reason he choose her ... she's a woman and he thought this would cinch the Hilary supporters. Any credibility he had was lost with this choice.

We got started when we broke away from a tyrant leader. We just wanted to play Socom, war when we could, have some fun, and enjoy each other's company without too much b.s. Since leaving our old clan, we really are just a VERY SMALL group who plays when we can, without a named leader. I like to think of myself as the "organizer." I do what I can to keep everyone up-to-date and in the know, keep our "website" updated, etc. We call stuntbutt and Fire-in-ur-hole our leaders, just cause we have to name someone on these dang UF applications. Our "clan" is the loosest form of a clan I think you can have and still call yourself a clan. Thankfully, we have been together long enough that there really is no need to police each other. But if someone needs policing, I guess that falls on the heads of myself, stunt, and fire. When Socom comes out and if we all start playing on a more regular basis, we may work harder on being more structured, but to be honest, none of us really want the leader responsibilities. I don't think our set up would really work for anyone other than ourselves and won't even work for us if and when we have new recruits or the clan starts to grow. Structure, order, moral code are all important. Those of us in AoV currently already know and follow "the way" but I think that a new recruit would have to be taught what is expected. (Another reason we aren't actively recruiting and growing.) Running a clan is a pain in the bum!

Maybe McCain will choose Ron Paul. ;DOne funny thing about this is.. The "Candidate Calculator" chose Biden for me. lol The Candidate Calculator is one quick & easy way to see who you probably SHOULD be voting for.. (i said probably) 71.43% match to Obama for me, which is where I did and was voting anyway.

Awwww, KJ, that's so nice, even though my husband would beg to differ! But when has he ever been right? (Or any husband for that matter, unless you are KJ and saying nice things about HippieChik. ;D) Seriously, though, I appreciate the kind words, but think you give me too much credit. This community is full of independant, open minded, and free thinkers who shed light on things from every angle. I enjoy reading the threads when everyone gives their "advice" on a particular subject. No one answer is ever right or wrong, just different answers from varying points of view. Lots of smart people around here! It's been a really long time since I have actually played any CoD or Socom, so I'm going off my past recollection, here. As for specific clans or people, I've always thought highly of and enjoy playing with WDA, TBH, and the former APC. These clans are made up of a great bunch of people who I would probably enjoy hanging with in everyday life. They are always friendly and fun to play with. Oh, and LPK too. Chaka leads a great group there. And King, I've enjoyed watching you meld right in. Y'all got off to a rocky start, but you lived, learned, and y'all are no longer the "red-headed stepchildren" around here. Growth is good. Says alot about ya!
