  3. We are going to start a Sig Border Contest open to anyone and everyone within the Urgent Fury Community. We will take submissions until 2359 on 8/1/11. The sigs will be voted on by the Urgent Fury Ranger Unit. The winning border will be used for the UF Ranger Sigs and be seen by tens of thousands of gamers as we travel around the online gaming universe promoting Urgent Fury. Here are the parameters: 1 - It must have a space for a name 2 - It must have a space for a clan tag 3 - It must have a space for a title 4 - It must be no larger than 550 x 200 5 - It must be in PNG format with a clear center for individual pics Post all submissions in this thread. And feel free to submit as many as you would like. The contest begins now. Good luck!!!
  4. I cooked 8 homemade pizzas on the BGE yesterday.
  5. Here's the final product. I was pressed for time so I smoked them at a higher temp for a shorter period. I do not recommend doing that. I ended up having to tent them and steam them in beer for an hour to bring back the moistness. I learned my lesson. I also don't have a pic of the meat after I pulled it because it was being eaten as I pulled it and by the time I remembered to take a pic it was almost gone.
  6. I put these on this morning. Used the below rub on both of them. I also used chunk hickory soaked in water for 45 minutes for the smoke. I'm in a bit of a hurry so I've got my BGE at about 275° instead of 200°. I'll pull them both when the internal temp hits 200°. More photos when I pull them off and then when I pull the bones out. Rub (not mine): 2 Tbsp Kosher Salt 2 Tbsp Sugar 2 Tbsp Brown Sugar 2 Tbsp Ground Cumin Seed 2 Tbsp Chili Powder 2 Tbsp Cracked Black Pepper 1 Tbsp Cayenne Pepper 4 Tbsp Hungarian Paprika (I used regular paprika) 2 Tbsp Ground Sage I doubled the recipe for two butts.

  8. Don't knock it till you try it (them). They're the best "last call" drink you'll ever find. Peps you right up before you head home to the wife (or hand in some cases).
  9. I drink Red Bull and Monster. Red Bull and Mandarin Orange Vodka Monster and UV Raspberry Vodka

Tricolor Pepper Rub (I use a 5 pepper blend) 2 tbsp freshly ground peppercorns (I use a dedicated coffee grinder) 2 tbsp sweet paprika 2 tbsp garlic powder 2 tbsp onion powder 2 tbsp kosher salt 2 tbsp dried oregano 1 tbsp chili powder 1 tsp celery seed 2 tbsp light brown sugar Place all ingredients in a small bowl. Using a wooden spoon, stir to blend well. Store in an airtight container. Makes 3/4 cup. This is a rub, from a BGE cookbook, I've used on beer can chickens and ribs. I use a 5 peppercorn mix for it and I adjust the amounts of each ingredient depending on my meat and sides. You could use this on steaks as well.
