    So my cc was declined last week. I used another then got busy and forgot to call and ask why. I travel out of state and this afternoon I go to get gas and it gets declined again. Then I remember I was supposed to call about that. So I call. They stopped my card on the 11th due to charges being made in South Africa and two holds for $1 each for Avis Rentals. Of course I hadn't been in South Africa trying to get rental car or buy any of the other items. My conclusion - I was a victim of the PS3 hack. Was anyone else a victim?

    And we wonder why nothing gets done in Congress. Spending too much time debating whether it should be illegal, or not, for someone to access open Wi-Fi. With today's technology I'm sure they can figure out who used whose Wi-Fi should anything illegal be done while accessing someones open Wi-Fi. Seems like it would be easier and cheaper to force router companies to remove the ability to make it open in the first place? Stupid laws. Like this one in California: It is a misdemeanor to shoot at any kind of game from a moving vehicle, unless the target is a whale.

    I'm not real knowledgeable on the ins and outs of software, security, hacking, etc but wasn't the Sony PSN encrypted too? And if so can't we assume that if someone hacked the PSN they could hack the CC info as well? Of course if the site is not encrypted and the hacker truly can not access the encrypted data why would Sony add fuel to the fire by announcing the information had been compromised? Why not confirm it first?

    I was just reading the Socom Pro notice on Socom.com and it says you'll find the redemption code on the back of the Socom 4 instruction manual and that starting 4/26 you'll have to start paying for it. Is that not the case then?
