Is it just me, or is the site hanging a bit at times? Seems like every couple of pages I view, the site will just hang and not finish loading. All I see at the bottom is that its trying to load network.adsmarket.com. Anyone else experiencing this? Any way I can fix this from my end?

I think what he means is that here in UF, its NOT just about winning. Its about a community of respectful clans playing together and enjoying a good tournament whereas GB is all about who's #1 and the whiners and complainers that arise when they lose. Here its win with honor and lose with dignity. No one here will say you suck because you lost in a tournament, or call you a cheater because you won a tournament. Its about sportsmanship and playing against good and honest clans. Or at least that's what I think he was trying to say ;D

I had no idea Howard was a lunatic lol, but I do remember him fighting. I was a huge fan of UFC when it first came out. I loved the fact that there were almost no rules and no weight classes. It was awesome to see 150 pound guys fight against 300 pound guys and it was fun watching them fight 2-3 times in the same event. I still remember a lot of the fights from Royce Gracie, Kimo, Ken Shamrock and one of my favorites, Tank Abbott. Too bad Tank and Kimbo Slice didn't fight 10 earlier... Tank would have destroyed him. Tank would have exposed Kimbo for the bum that he is ;D I'm still a fan of UFC, and I know the sport had to mature and adopt safety rules to survive, but those first UFCs were just unbelievable.

We don't know this. For all we know, it cold be just as easy as Sony opening up their servers to allow Microsoft connections and vice versa. Seems like a really cool idea and it would be quite interesting if it actually did happen, but I just don't think it ever will. I have signed it however to help the cause.

You're right, but the original movie was played by Ralph Macchio who was in his early 20's at the time and the role portrayed a teenager. So going off of that, it just seems a bit weird to now see the part being played by an 11 year old. But, I am sure young kids will love the movie though

They would have used an older kid. Just don't see how much excitement could come out of watching an 11 year old kid kick another 11 year old kid's ass. It'll be like watching kids fighting during recess in elementary school. I really like the idea of a karate kid remake... they just got the karate "kid" part all wrong imo.

Sweet! That is precisely what I'm looking for... price just seems a bit steep :'( I'll keep looking around to see if there is something else out there that can provide better quality than a dazzle for a cheaper price, if not, this will have to do. thanks for the link!

I know several of you guys have made some nice videos... I was wondering how you went about capturing it? I used the dazzle a while back and it did a decent job, but are there other ways to capturing video or taking screen shots and transferring over to a computer? What hardware, software, etc do you guys recommend?

I don't think tiger wood's purpose is to want to be rich and famous... he just wants to be the best golfer period. Unfortunately, wealth and fame comes with that. But yeah, they need to leave the guy alone. Media coverage in general is all BS. It would be refreshing to hear more stories about good things going on in the world rather than only printing negative things to make money. -
Don't really know what all the fuss is about. MW2 is a FPS game. Period.

Like the others have mentioned, MW2 is a FPS game. Its meant to be played that way. I will be playing this game until the next installment comes out and not once will I ever do a TPS game on it.

I "camp" for the following reasons: 1 - I want to protect the area I'm in 2 - I'm not that strong at run and gun 3 - I'm able to gain an advantage on those who run past me (happens a lot) 4 - I believe its more tactical than run and gun and I prefer the more tactical approach 5 - The game itself actually allows me to sit in one place for extended periods of time (I dont die from camping) 6 - Because I can (I own the game) I dont camp so that my KDR is higher. I find it hard to believe that camping enables that unless you're a sniper, and a good one at that. As a matter of fact I believe its your skill at the game and not whether you camp or run and gun that determines your KDR. Maybe I'm way off on that. If someone thinks I am please explain it to me so I can understand how it does so. Why not adapt and overcome in game? Why not be more tactical and out play the opponent? Seems to me run and gunners will always come to you. No need to search them out. Think of it like playing hide and seek with those who camp? I dont see anyone complaining about the people who simply run around the map shooting and throwing grenades hoping for cheap kills. Is that next? Maybe we should add camping to the list of things shooter games should leave out. Like the IW (if you're playing Socom 2.....if playing Confrontation its OK), or RPG's (unless you're strictly using it on vehicles and no one is within 50 meters), or the M60 (unless your tactics call for a heavy machine gun for cover fire or you need a lag buster), or what about......you get the picture. The list is pretty long by now and it sounds as though its just going to keep getting longer. At some point in time people are just going to have to figure out how to play against different styles of play. I try to do that. I try to learn from each of them. And I try to have fun doing so. After all, having fun is why I bought the game. I just thought of a number 7 - It pisses people off (advantage me) Amen to that!

Who cares if MP is down for a few days??? The same thing happened with MW1. Once they got the server issues fixed, it NEVER became a problem again. Besides, unlike other games out there, MW2 actually came with a campaign mode, so we get to play that while they fix the server issues. I'm just shocked that some of you guys are surprised by the downtime already. I mean, what do you expect? MW2 will shatter almost every single record ever recorded for video game and will become an instant game of the year. If MW1 was all that and a bag of chips, MW2 will be all that and a bag of chips with dip

It really all comes down to what you prefer to play. Some guys swear by Socom and they will continue to play Socom. some guys swear by CoD and will continue to play CoD. Some guys like both games and will play both games. I really don't see what all the arguing, debating, etc is going on. My personal preference is CoD. It annoys me that there are noob tubes, jugga noobs, grenade launchers and annoying little kids in the lobby who want to let the whole world know how bad their rapping abilities are... but despite all that, I still continue to play CoD. From reading all the socom threads about how /6 destroyed the game and about how many flaws the game has, I still see socom fans playing it. This just proves one thing, Socom fans will stick with Socom and CoD fans will stick with CoD. I'm excited and I can't wait for the game to come out. Unlike others, I won't let silly things like people using my clan tag make me lose interest in the game. The videos so far for it are undeniably awesome. For socom fans, the game may become "stale"... but for CoD fans, it won't. To this day I'm still playing MW and I enjoy it just as much today as I did the first day it came out. Besides, if I remember correctly, before Confrontation came out, a lot of the clans here were playing CoD. Apparently CA had become stale... even for you hardcore Socom fans ;D

I didn't get a chance to get on ps3 tonight, but I'll be on tomorrow. I'll shoot you an invite tomorrow in case you're on. We do a lot of private matches with crucible style rules.

I installed Yellow Dog on it about a year ago. I couldn't get anything to work on it, so I took it off. I did it mainly just to see how it is, but there really is no use for installing a Linux distro on a ps3.

Hardcore FTW. All the private matches my clan plays is done with hardcore enabled. And yes, it does suck to get shot in the foot and die, but I would prefer that then running into a got with a shotgun who has juggernaut on and it takes you 2 bullets to take him down, but just one shot from him to kill you. But then again, you need to have some type of good accuracy to actually shoot someone on the foot And yes, I am one of those that still plays MW. I have been playing it since the very first day it came out (with the exception of 2-3 weeks of playing WaW which I didn't like too much, so I went back to MW) ;D
