Yes you can run a clan like the goverment.. First create massive amounts of paperwork for every thing you do.. Second create a budget and then go WaYYYY Over it on wasteful things.. kind of like taking Viagra and going to a Strip club... what's the point? Third.. make it so your clan will only play hide and seek against one or two man teams.. give your clan all weapons and all equipment perks.. including some not even on the list.. and make it a 32 man squad against two others players in the other clan armed with AK47's.. then lose the war.. because the one advantage the other team has is they can leave the map without you knowing or being able to follow. Fourth.. hold elections for leadership.. every two months.. that way you're always campaigning.. also allow taunting trash talking, dead body pumping and every other idiotic thing for the two member candidates for election .. and no one else. Fifth change the name of your clan to FUBAR That ought to do it, you're now officially a Government ran clan.

I haven't played the beta but G4 had a special on Res2 the other night and they should video of the NEW EIGHT yes 8!! that's Eight player co-op! Eight players against some really hard AI"s.. they also showed some of the new 60 man that's right SIXTY! man online play! I gotta say Resistance 2 will be getting some game play from me.. Official release is election day.. online versus mode for this game doesn't interest me that much.. Single play on the first game was fun as all get out.. but playing Eight man co-op is something I'm looking forward to giving a go.

It's sort of like grand theft, and sort of like oblivion, and sort of like Fable, and sort of like COD4 and sort of like Rainbow Vegas.. and etc. etc. . 1) first person views suck but oh well,, even worse when you're trying to drive a jeep across Africa and have no side vision.. pull up the map and you're sure to hit a Zebra or wind up in a ditch. 2) Knifing fools with a Machete is COOL!! way cool!! especially the man down and hurt and finish him off with a Machete to the chest downward kill!! yeah! 2) Grenade launcher on the trucks kicks ass! 4) boats are the safest and quickest way to get around. 5) AI's are gay, for some reason which ever way you look some idiot in a small car tries to run you down from the opposite direction. KIll everyone at a cross road drive a mile away.. turn around and "POOF" they are all magically back! Water buffalos wait to see which way you swerve in order to make sure they get in your way.. force you to hit them and damage your vehicle. 6) The shot gun RULES!! 7) The Sniper rifle (the good one with accuracy and recovery bonus on it).. RULES!! the Hand held GL does massive damage !! Forget about using the rocket launcher they will only stop or serve at exactly the right moment they need to .. lob a granade at em and blow up eveything! 9) Grass fires RULE 10) hitting the oxygen tanks with a snipe rifle is CRAZY FUN!! 11) The map generator is a lot of work but its also a lot of entertainment. 12) I started out on hardest difficulty and got to about 12% done with the story mode.. but I got tired of having some Hispanic girl save my ass or eating some Malaria pill every 10 minutes.. I set it to easy and went on a cross country driving maniac killing spree!!! That was fun!!

I owned a remodeling company in Austin, TX for six years. I did an addition for a high exec at Dell and got invited to their yearly picnic (this was back in 91) anyway I met Michael Dell. I was not impressed. He was sort of a prima Donna. But aside from any personal opinion. I’ve always disliked Dell’s bus. Practices. Here’s why, Dell got started from basically a build it yourself PC stance. All they did was purchase PC parts, motherboards, processors, ram, hard drives.. etc.. slap them in a Dell case, (someone else built and stamped a Dell logo on) add Microsoft’s software, call it a DeLL and sell it. They didn’t actually invent, manufacture, design or engineer anything. Its like buying a motor from GM, a chassis from ford, seats and interior from Toyota slapping it all in a modified AMC pacer body and calling it a “Dell Vehicleâ€. They did however provide a really good customer service support.. of course that’s history since they now outsource their support to some non English speaking country. Reason enough to not like them, but on top of all of that, in a rather hypocritical way. Dell PC’s are some of the most proprietary PC’s built. For a company to build a pc using anyone and anybodies parts they can get the best deal on and then build it in such a way that makes it difficult to change the motherboard (dell motherboards are ordered so that they only fit dell cases) as well as upgrade other things using anything other than so called “Dell†parts is absurd. Giving their past and the way they began, to me its simply deceitful and two-faced. I never liked Dell that much for the above reasons and after reading about Hchicks dad. I can now say I hate them.. they suck.. take a sledge hammer to your Dell. Head to a local PC parts store and build it yourself. It’s not that hard, if a dweeb like Michael Dell can do it anybody can.

But I like to believe I’m smarter then the average bear with concerns to all things Audio video, that includes Networks and the transferring and streaming of AV data. Every article on possible fixes contained the instructions to clear your PS3’s internet browser’s cache, cookies, and authentication data? Although often times this did indeed work. I could not help from wondering WHY? Why does my browser’s cache have anything to do with a games functionality? One should have nothing whatsoever to do with the other. What if I was not an online user, never even hooked my Ps3 up to the internet, would the game I just purchased not even work in single play unless it was able to download an update essential for the brand new game I just purchased? Would if freeze up often and basically be unplayable if it wasn’t able to insert some unknown code, (tracker, id mark, spy ware and or verification data) into my Ps3’s browser cache? What was being buried away in my internet cache, seemingly unimportant , however any changes to it would dramatically effect the performance of my high dollar game? Would Sony be above using the cache to verify, authenticate and grant permissions or else deny permissions to a games use? The answer is History says… NO, they have no qualms about doing something like this. Without notification, without concern to the possibility of side effects such as decreased security or increased risk of vulnerability to other attacks. Let History be a reminder. Its the whole purpose of *DNAS, the infamous Authentication software used by SECA, how it works is a mystery since very little information on it is giving out.. Ask yourself this.. " how come what Sony suggest to do to fix many connection and game freeze errors is to DELETE Your PS3's browser CACHE, History and Authentication data? What the hell does the browsers cache have anything to do with a games functionality? The answer lies in yet another attempt to eliminate or curb cheats and/or manipulation. If they were to place a file that prevents cheating, installs updates, or fixes security loop holes where it could easily be found and deleted then it would defeat the purpose.. so they hide it.. in your browser cache, the identification of YOU is not your ID, your game profile or your IP, it's something that doesn't change.. possibly the MAC address of your console? Although it has been suggested that’s not it either.. Who knows and they aren’t telling us. Do they use the cache, as well as cookies to check authentication data, not sure how? They aren’t telling on that one either but it sounds a lot like *BLUESTEM. Why would this effect game play? The answer has to do with Multiple users and proof of authenticity. Hell they even patented the thing!! I highly recommend the reading of the link referenced for Pantent 7218739 at the bottom of this post.. It will open your eyes on just what it is I’m talking about here. And (a really technical hard to follow report that basically says the same thing) *Side effects of console authentications. To this I say FINE! I don't have a problem with this, if it helps curb manipulation then hey I'm all for it!! But why the secrecy? You might be asking why does this matter? It all goes back to the “Hit detection latency†and server interpolation percentages assigned by profiling and recording of player information data. If you don’t think they have the drive power to track, save and load profiling data, you are wrong! It doesn’t require much space anyway.. its data! Besides by using each consoles internal memory all they really need is verification of profile data. But I would wager the ability to record far more extreme additional data is not a concern. Would Sony dare to be so bold as to place hidden data on your console for purposes only they know about? Of course they would its not like they haven’t before. See Sony CD *Rootkit scandle? I can’t blame them for not divulging too much information on how they do things, it would probably defeat the whole purpose. Once again the honor players suffer by the actions of the dishonest. That they are trying is at least very admirable. I also realize the difficulties in figuring out just how to manage it. It’s sort of like reinventing the wheel. My thought is why? For me, I would not oppose allowing Sony more access to private data if it means it helps them accomplish better security. Just a word of thanks to everyone on this thread.. Although it came close on a number of occasions, which can be expected I guess?, for the most part the debate here has not got out of hand. Politics as you all know can often be the cause of heated debates turned into personal insults. While ragging on a candidate, a party, a system or a government is fine, heck we all do it from time to time, ragging on one another because of political differences isn’t. And you all did a good job of holding to that. From reading all the pages, (yes even the long post I’d be a hypocrite if I didn’t! LOL) I can tell a couple of times it could have easily turned for the worst, and things got close, but it didn’t and stating in a “in my opinion†or “I can respect your opinion, although I disagree†way has led to an excellent UF community political debate here. Probably the first of its kind. Sure I’ve been having a bit of fun with my injection of “Goat styled Humorâ€, its only an attempt for a bit of comic relief since I prefer to keep my political views to myself. That however doesn’t mean I haven’t enjoyed reading the opinions others have put forth in this thread. Good stuff and nice job of keeping it real while maintaining respect of one another. I don't know bro.. its like I said.. I've gone with a much simpler style these days.. not too much lettering. not too much in the sig just a main focus icon, name and clan.. basic stuff. Besides Banshee for me will always be the X-man Banshee if I was to do one it would be something like this.. as opposed to the one you have now.. which by the way the one you have now looks fine to me.
