  1. I am just trying to figure out what the white streak is across the ceiling. I know you want to "break in" every room of the house when you move in but getting just a little excited a little early their money?

    80gb PS3

    Take a look here. http://www.us.playstation.com/Support/CompatibleStatus

    80gb PS3

I never heard that before.. Shane..? The 40GB is the only model that clearly says that it is not backward compatible. If I remember correctly the 20 and 60 have the chip and the 80 has software emulation that makes it compatible where as the 40 took out all options of making it backward compatible. Why you couldn't have the software emulation on the 40GB is beyond me.
  4. If you have not seen this take a look. I am a Flyers fan but I will give props to players and fans when they deserve them. I would HOPE ALL fans would be as concerned and as respectful as the Buffalo fans were. Thankfully he will recover and was stable shortly after the incident. The video is graphic but not real bad, FYI. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-7000838691090396430

    80gb PS3

The 20, 60 and 80 are backwards compatible. The rumor is the 80 is still going to be there but they are changing the SKU and offering something other then Motostorm. Who knows.
  6. We will not see the new maps until AFTER the patch comes out. Since the patch is not done yet it might be a while.
  7. Never heard of a baseball swing analyzer but there are some good golf ones out there. LOL Maybe to start take some video of them swinging from different angles, one looking straight at their chest is key. Make sure their knuckles are lined properly to get the proper wrist role. I have a few tricks up my sleeve for more power. I went from hitting 1 or 2 HR's a year to not being able to keep it in the park in softball LOL. I am your proto lead off hitter normally. I am pretty sure you have a digital video camera.
  8. I doubt it, because JUST like Joox the downloads come directly from Stage6, so if your downloading from Joox you're downloading the same thing on Movieforumz... so if you're getting viruses on 1 you're getting them on the other, and unlike Joox, Movieforums pre-screens all links for all known viruses I didn't even download anything, I was just looking at the site.
  9. I don't know how long you get for practices either but as a coach you want to stick to one or two topics each session. If you are going to work on bunting work on it with everyone for half the session then another topic. For example, I coach soccer and am certified. Tuesday night we work on heading. We do a simple drill then a harder drill then games where you can only use your head. Thursday we work on dribbling. I have them dribble around in a box where they cannot touch anyone or someone else's soccer ball or go outside the box. The next drill will be a 2v1 drill where they try to dribble around 1 defender with the help of a team mate. Then the next level is 1v1 then 1v2. Make it progressively harder.
  10. I tried it, was there a whole 20 secs and got hit with 2 viruses. I will pass thanks. Thank god for Corporate Symantec.
  11. try joox.net on your PS3. You can download the movie and watch it. Some are in pretty good shape, others are clearly recorded at the theater. I uhm watched I am legend and Cloverfield. Both were watchable. Also look at Stage6.com.
  12. Just have them watch the White Sox, or any other team then the Indians. They will learn some fundamentals there. Seriously. With indoor you can cut a racquet ball in half or purchase a off center training ball and have them through it against the wall and try and field it cleanly. Soft toss is a good training aid believe it or not. Gets them to focus on the ball through the swing. If the facility is big enough, lay out the bases and practice, pick off's, stealing, double plays and maybe even some bunting drills. Bunting is a lost art. Might be a good idea to get them doing a lot of drills for that. I saw a video of what Cal Ripken did in his gym where he used two walls. One where the 1st baseman would be and the other where home plate would be. There was a mark on the 1st base side where the 1st baseman's glove would be. He would through the ball against the home plate wall, field it like a grounder and toss to 1st. He would try and teach his body the muscle memory so that he would be accurate without having to look.
  13. A^2 + B^2 = C^2 25 + 25 = C^2 50 = C^2 which = 7.07 7.07 - 5 = 2.07 pythagorean theory then assuming that circles are touching at tangent the distance from the center of the big circle to the edge is 5 so that is where you get the minus 5.
  14. They announced a release date in May? I have only seen TBA 2008.
  15. Personally I don't think you need to go that far with the headsets. I have a Motorola H350 and the Jabra that came with Warhawk and the JABRA is far better with the PS3 then the Motorola. The Motorola sounds fine with the phone but sucks when connected to the PS3. Plantronics and Jabra seem to be the winner when it comes to the PS3 from what I have read on forums.
  16. Prestige 8 somewhere in the 20's right now. Why did I go through Prestige? Simple, because I can. No other reason; just makes it more of a challenge and it is fun being back at level 1 and going 22-3 against 6 level 55's who couldn't get 10 kills in HQ.
  17. we really need an edit option. I did notice a few other EX White Sox when I looked at the list again. Cameron for one and Sosa but Sosa was Pre roid with the Sox and I try to forget he was with the Sox.
  18. I am kind of surprised by a few names on the list so far but am happy that players like Derek Jeter, A-Rod, Jim Thome are not on that list. I did notice a lot of former/current Cubs players but really no White Sox players (Albert Belle was the only one). hmmm..... hehehehehe I hate the Shlubs!
  19. There is NO way Frank Thomas is on that list! I would like to know if that list from Skipper is official?
  20. Troy Glaus is in their twice. But is this an official list? If so, where did you get it?
  21. I wouldn't be surprised to hear some names like Aaron Rowand, Carlos Lee, maybe even Carlos Zambrano although Zambrano being such a horse you would think he would have had injury issues if he did take roids. Earlier someone posted Prior, what about Woods? My perdiction will be Jaun Uribe, I don't like him anyway. This perdiction is for Sequoyah, Pujols and all the Clevland Indians! LOL Bottom line this is a huge bruise for MLB. Maybe not as bad as the NHL strike but a lot of fans are going to be disappointed in their stars that are implicated. I am a White Sox fan but I have always respected great players like Don Mattingly, Tony Gwynn, George Brett, Ryne Sandberg and Wade Boggs but I couldn't imagine how I would feel if Cal Ripken was on that list. He is the type of player that you as a kid look at and say "that is a roll model" and you teach your kids about players like him. Now if he was on that list everything just goes down the drain.

    DOUBLE XP

Nothing new, which sucks... you just start all over. RUMOR has it that if you finish all prestige levels that you get two attachments, silencer and red dot for example. BUT I STRESS THIS IS RUMOR! I also planned on playing more with the double XP but that didn't happen.
