I am happy to see you guys returning to the UF community Kurtz! What happened in the past is in the past in my book. Life is too short to hold grudges and everyday is a new day. I always look to the future and what tomorrow holds, though the past is history, it can be learned from. This is my take... He went out there looking for trouble and he had malicious intent. Sure he feels the need to be a neighborhood watchman or whatever he wants to be called, but he shot the men and not 30 seconds later did the police arrive. Would the criminals really have been able to flee that fast? This statement here is the problem with his actions: Horn: "I understand that, OK, but I have a right to protect myself too, sir, and you understand that. And the laws have been changed in this country since September the First and you know it and I know it." He blatantly lets the dispatcher know he is intending to use this law or abuse in this case. The law was NOT made for someone to go seeking out people who were not in his house or presenting any immediate danger to his person. These are the kind of things that make people say "Oh that is why the 2nd amendment should be changed and guns should be banned." I'll be damned if my right to bear arms is infringed upon because of some wackjob who felt he had to shoot to KILL when the criminals were unarmed with any type of gun or lethal force.

I just found out something REALLY cool. I was texting updates to a friend of mine who was boarding a plane from Orlando back to Chicago and Gary Fencik was reading my updates too as he was sitting right next to my friend! For those who don't know, Gary Fencik was a DB for the Bears during the 80's (He was on the 85 team that won the superbowl) and he holds the franchise record for INT's.

Bears down 34-20 with 5 minutes remaining. We score twice to send it to overtime, then march down the field in OT and win 37-34 on a Robbie Gould field goal! Devin Hester = BEAST! The Bears offense finally came alive in the 4th quarter and OT. Did anyone see that beautiful catch to make the game 34-33 (tied after XP) by Bernard Berrian? This was a season saver! P.S. Skuba the Broncos SUCK! ;D lol!

I think this movie rocked! Although the actor who played Agent 47 (Timothy Olyphant) didn't sound like the voice from the game, he played the role really well. This movie was filled with nonstop action and the storyline was really good. I suggest seeing this if you haven't already.

Uh, they really haven't had that much time bro. They had just started creating the game back when it was announced in May. You expect them to create a GOOD game in 6 months? They are trying not to follow in Zipper's footsteps ala rushing the game and releasing a truly flawed game. I am fine with waiting until the Spring or even Fall of next year for the best Socom game possible.

SOCOM: Confrontation has officially been pushed back to 2008. To quote the latest issue of EGM in regard to Confrontation’s new release date. “[it was] purely due to the fact that we didn’t want to compromise the quality of SOCOM Confrontation,†says Sony Producer Mark Rogers. So there you have it guys; even though you may want Confrontation now, our main focus is quality.
