Damn, I can't find the article now, but over the weekend a story popped up saying the MWC had invites to Kansas and someone else to also join. Then today there is the story about Texas trying to save the 12 with new TV deals. Guess we will have to wait to see the ending of this story. Yeah I keep hearing the Texas schools are trying to keep the conference together. I think it holds for at least this season.

I think the most overlooked point here is that some of the Staff is about to meet the Socom 4 devs!!!!! Holy hell that is awesome. Shane you better make sure they do right by us.

There is another mission that has a glitch problem. The "Love is the Opiate" side mission may not register once you complete it. So you need to have two different saves before you attempt it. I am one of the unlucky bastards who did it and didn't have it register. So unless a patch comes out I can't get my outfit. :'(

Right now I am thinking the Big 12 stays together in some form. Oklahoma State has no desire to go anywhere and I don't believe Oklahoma, Texas, or Texas Tech want to leave. I can't imagine them wanting to go to the SEC because of the already extreme depth in football programs. Plus I think the top 3 in the Big 12(Both Oklahomas and Texas) don't want any part of seeing LSU, Bama, and Florida every year. With the recent punishments put on USC any one of those schools could make some serious noise in the PAC 10.

I was all for the pickup of Nebraska to the Big 10. I live in Illinois so I'm a Big 10 fan. But I do not like the entire Big 12 being broken up. How is Texas considering moving to the Pac 10? They aren't even close to the coast! I hate this so much. I had respect for the Big 12's football schools. Now the Pac 10 and SEC will continue even more to dominate football. Is the Pac 10 going to become the Pac 15?

I understand why Selig wouldn't do it but that really sucks for Galarraga. As a consolation though the Tigers bought him a corvette and gave it to him at the game today. The ump was there working the game and he and Armando shook hands and everything. -

Everybody makes mistakes Lash. I have been following this all day and the Ump took Armando aside after the game and apologized. He has been apologizing to everyone all day. He wants Bud Selig to overturn the call. I feel so bad for him because of the drama this is causing. If this doesn't get overturned his life is going to be a nightmare for years. -
Couldn't have said it better Lash. Griffey was my hero in the 90's growing up. He will always be one of my favorite players and he was a man amongst boys in the steroid era. It goes to show how much of a professional he is that he was never even in question of juicing.

I'm 2-2 against Bears so far. The damn Cougars give me nightmares. I was outside Blackwater and I had just roped an American Half-Breed (which is very hard might I add because it is the fastest horse in the game) when a cougar runs up as I jumped off my horse to get on the American and mauls my ass. Then another time I took a bounty and was putting him on my horse when a cougar killed my horse, then the bounty before I could take it out.

yea lol, i first came to UF when i was 15. Now im 17 hahaha =D At least i dont post whore anymore. That used to drive some of you guys insane. Some is an understatement. ;D

I think regardless of advertising Urgent Fury still offers the best tournament experience around. This is just a lull in gaming right now. As one who has experienced multiple tournament sites I will say its not just UF, it is everywhere right now.

I wouldn't use the applying clans as an accurate measurement of clans still around UF. Again I must point out that UF is largely a socom community and Socom Confrontation is the least popular title to date. Once Socom 4 comes out I expect to see a large comeback by some vet clans.
