I was listening to the radio on the way to the office and they were talking about subject of this being the 7th year since the attack. In those 7 years there has not been one successful terrorist attack on US interests. That is amazing. He is not a Bush supporter but gave him, the FBI, CIA, Armed Forces and all law enforcement agencies credit. He said I don't care how much you don't like Bush you HAVE to tip your hat at this accomplishment. Personally I would have to agree.

But to me that is not a true beta. A beta test should be us finding issues and reporting them, that is not what is happening. Them testing their net code or servers is not beta testing the game play of this game and that is what /6 is letting the public believe. We do not have any input on issues that we see in game and that to me tells me it is a demo.

This is being argued over in the Playstation forum. Personally I don't see this as a beta. A true beta would allow us to give feedback to the developers, I don't see this happening.

That is because the US players are using the ASIA servers because the US servers are full. Here is my issue and think about this logically. How far along was this beta version? If it was an early version, why patch it? Why put the effort in to a version that is outdated? This makes me nervous on where they are at with the final version and if that is what we are playing.

Hold on let me get this right. /6 sent out a predetermined number of beta sheets for preorders. Then they say hey you can invite 2 of your friends for each code. And they didn't EXPECT the load? Lets see we sent out 10,000 for preorder and each gives 3 users a chance to beta so that is 30,000. How many should you expect Seth? DUMBASS!

I am saving it so one day if I EVER run in to an IW developer or their community manager I have something other then my foot to shove up their ass for lack of support.

Character movement is SLOOOWWWW!! They need to speed that up a bit. Load times are horrible! Hit detection is ok so far but that pause every minute or so has to stop. I did hear a rumor that it has something to do with testing our connections. Needs to be a way to see what server your friends are in. At least I have not found it yet. Graphics and customization are pretty solid. The lobby lag is pretty bad but it is a beta and I bet a bunch are still downloading it.

I don't know either my game hung OR these are some LONG ass load times!!

The email was sent at 12, I didn't get it till 1235. I started downloading at 1240 and am at 62% at 1250. Not bad with EVERYONE trying to download it now.

Did anyone recognize the explosives guy they went to after their main guy went to the casino? Did anyone catch the 2 references to The Shield? The explosives guy was in Remember the Titans. I know the ATF agent is the Detective from The Shield, I don't think I noticed the other. Peggy Bundy, That show was AWESOME!!!

Anyone watching this? The series premier is on and so far this looks like it could be pretty solid. I just hope they don't pull the same shit like they did with Over There. Over There could have been a HUGE hit.

It is but I think she is hinting that she would rather have more responsibility, like President instead of VP. Remember I am talking perception. Most people don't see the VP as an active person, more of a side kick.

Maybe it is me but I think that she is trying to get the point across that VP's, at least perception wise, are really more for show. She is proactive and she feels that she needs to be active in everyday affairs where the VP usually isn't. But the is just my humble opinion.

I would have to disagree $$. I think most are testy because 1: it was suppose to be with the system release. 2: after it failed to launch with the system it was Nov 19, 2007 then pushed to spring now Oct. So I think everyone is tired of the delays. I think the fact that they set a hard date and now delayed it is really indicative of POOR project management. They have had demos out at events for the past month or more so WHAT could possibly delay it another 4 days?
