From my experience LinkSys is one of the better routers and Netgear is probably the worst. Top 3 are LinkSys, D-Link and Buffalo in no particular order. The only reason LinkSys is not the best overall is their firmware BUT if you have a WRT54 series there is open source 3rd party firmware that is REALLY good. http://www.polarcloud.com - Tomato (this is what I use) http://www.dd-wrt.com BTW these work on other wireless products too but you need to see if yours is compatible.

If I am reading that right it is $.78/liter and there are approx 4 liters to a gallon. so that would still be a little over $3/gallon. We are getting raped but just remember it is NOT supply and demand OR Peak Oil. The US dollar is as weak as BigMoney's left hand (we ALL know why his right hand is stronger ) and that is why we have to pay more to get the same amount of oil.

I think it is more like they are trying to deter file sharing but this could affect gamers with next gen. Broadband subscribers in Beaumont, Texas, will be charged $1 per gigabyte above monthly allowances, a company spokesman said. The new policy is intended to address the top 5 percent of users, who have spent a "disproportionate" amount of time on Time Warner Cable's network, a company spokesman said. Such usage is "taxing the infrastructure," the spokesman said. "In order to make investments in the infrastructure, we have to find the revenue to pay for it." Consumers in the test region will be offered several levels of service. A $29.95 per month plan for slower speeds of 768 kilobits per second and a 5 gigabyte limit would let users send and receive about 349,525 e-mails, play 170 hours of online games, or download 1,383 digital songs per month. At the high end, a $54.90 monthly fee for a 15-megabit-per-second service and a 40 gigabyte monthly limit would allow subscribers to watch 124 hours of standard-definition videos or download 11,070 songs. Some technology blogs have criticized the new pricing structure and usage limits, which they said would curtail interest in viewing videos online and enrage consumers who currently pay for unlimited service. "Setting the caps is a very simple matter to change," the spokesman said. "If usage patterns are such that we need to change those, we certainly can." I wouldn't say you over reacted. If you feel what you did is right then that should answer your own question. If he has the right (by permit) to do whatever why would they be swinging branches at them, wouldn't you just shoot them? AND if a business had a permit to do so, wouldn't it be easily accessible? It doesn't make sense and IMHO what you did is right.

Honestly stuff is going to fail. There are always going to be instances where the failure happens just outside the warranty. It happens. Now we don't know the whole story either with any of those videos. We ASSUME they are telling the truth but we have NO idea if they were messing around with something, if they properly maintained it or if there was an electrical surge. Who knows!? I would rather pay the $150 for repair then the $4300 for a new engine that blew up 1 month out of warranty and it was properly maintained!

http://www.myhava.com - I have the Wireless HD but I have to record in 1080i for it to be good quality. There are not many options for HDMI and the ones there are, are very expensive. BTW with the gefen option you will still have to transfer from it to your PC. With these files most likely being in the 1/2 to 1 GB range this could take some time. With the HAVA it is recorded ON your PC over your network and it doesn't kill your LAN. The test that I have done you really don't notice any network traffic while recording.

3 New Socom Videos (Knife Attack Confirmed)

I know this is a newer video BUT at around the 1:43 mark there is a Seal that LAGS 4 or 5 times across the street. For some reason I remember this scene from a long time ago and thinking this is LAN and it lags like that in LAN what the hell is going to happen in WAN? Does anyone else remember that? I like the integration of the 6 axis, although it will take a while to get use to it. It looks like the same Physics engine as COD4. Anyone know what engine they are using? I heard a rumor it was the Crysis engine, anyone else heard? I think the biggest thing that made Socom was the community. Don't get me wrong the game play is great but a lot of the fun came from the laughs I had with clan and friends. I know this doesn't apply in UF BUT the other KEY feature is going to be moderators in terms of cheats/glitches/rank ups and so on. They HAVE to keep that under control for this game to be successful. If they keep the cheating down this game will destroy anything any other system puts out. I also have a question about diving? Remember how you could dive and get up instantly? Is that fixed? Can you dive while sprinting? I like a lot of the new features, I cannot wait to play! -
Not that I am defending Bush because I am not happy with him either BUT a lot started in the Clinton administration. Especially selling information to China and allowing US designed patented products to be stolen by Chinese manufacturers, built by Chinese companies and sold in the US. Outsourcing has been around a lot longer then these past 8 years. The tidal wave of outsourcing hit in the early 90's. Look at Motorola, Gateway, Andrew Corp, pretty much every technology company and pretty much 90% of the Customer Service phone support from companies.

I don't see how you think there is no profit for gas companies when they are reporting $17 Billion/quarter in profits. That is $68 BILLION/YEAR and what they spend $200 million AT MOST in R&D for new sources? Then probably another $1 Billion on paying our politicians so the gauging investigations disappear. It is also NOT supply and demand that is causing the increase in prices. There are TWO major factors on why our prices are so high. 1: The USD is WEAK and getting WEAKER. 2: Gas price is speculation and if a terrorists hiccups and the speculators fear that a pipeline might be attacked they raise the price. Peak oil is NOT here and new plentiful oil fields are being found everywhere. Problem is that environmentalist don't want people drilling everywhere out of fear of spills and affecting wildlife.

Cubs have won 1 series so far against a team with a record over 500? The teams that they are winning against like Pitt and Cinci SUCK! You KNOW the Sox are in the toughest division, you are just trying to satisfy your delusional expectations of the Cubs actually having a chance at winning a World Series. Sox have split with Oak(18-12), won 3 of 5 from Balt(15-13), 2 of 3 from TB(16-12). Who has had the tougher schedule? By the way the Cubs are in 2nd now.

You are missing a key ingredient in that 4-3 loss. The Cubs had a 3-1 lead in the 9th, that is a BAD loss! If you listen to the Cub fans on Chicago sports radio the sky is falling! LOL Sox are in 1st in what is said to be the toughest division in MLB. Cubs are in first in what is said to be one of the weakest divisions in MLB. But then again Cub fans think they are going to the WS EVERY year.
