Crossroads is a given....everyone wants that map's return. My all-time fave maps were Abandoned and Foxhunt. I could play those maps over and over and over again. Be REALLY cool to play control points or Demolition on Foxhunt instead of just Escort. We'll see....

..............lol, just wondering, but why wouldn't your Clan Rep just ask? LOL Those issues are usually brought up to the Clan Reps in the CR section, and the info is usually given on-time on an appropriate schedule.

Hawk..... The OFFICIAL day/night that Sniper and I will be out ready to meet the individuals of UF is on August 2nd, Saturday. It will be an afternoon event that we're THINKING of having at Portillo's or something, and then having it all move down to a nice bar afterwards where we can all relax with some drinks (we'll have a headstart at Portillo's where they do serve beer). That's really it. NOW, we're not saying that this is ALL that CAN happen that weekend. You're going to have a LOT of UF players in Chicago on this day and OTHER things CAN be planned and organized with people. However, this was mainly an APC-weekend gathering...it just HAPPENED to be the one where Sniper was coming in for the very first time and since the two creators of UF were going to be in the same city, we decided to open it up to the rest of our community. We're not opposed to meeting up with UF community members or including them in some of our other APC activities going on (earlier this year in March we had one where about 12 APCers came in for eats, bowling, walking and sightseeing around downtown Chicago and went up the Sears Tower), but again, those will be things we will be planning for APCers-specific. We won't say "you can't come," but we're going to have some things pre-set for the APCers coming in. Hopefully this helps you in a decision on whether or not to come in for the weekend. Though it was initially supposed to be solely for Sniper's and my clan, we've extended the invite to anyone in this UF community, only because of the time we've spent with all of you and because of everyone's familiarity with one another here. I don't see how it won't be a good time, and at the bottom of it all, you're coming in to visit one HELL of a city to boot! We thought for brief moments of renting out a softball field or something on the outskirts of Chicago where we could have a picnic of some sort with a few friendly games of softball, frisbee, horseshoes and impromptu mud wrestling, but we're unsure of our numbers at this time so we'll see. To give some of you a heads up on what CAN happen at one of these in Chicago, I'll post up some pics here of our last APC gathering, which was nothing short of a BLAST: Amongst many, many more..... It's a good time here in Chicago.

Though I REALLY don't believe any of my ring tones suck, I would LOVE to actually hear what some of you have on yours. I bet SOMEONE in here has that annoying fast-beat jazz drums on theirs that comes pre-installed on their cell phone! ;D My cell phone is developing a damn complex because of this odd attention to it.

To those this applies to... We have a set standard here and an even stricter time line when it comes to creating, coordinating and executing a full UF tourney. And that's just the EVAL tourney. A UF TACMAP tourney is a WHOLE different ball of wax, and there are some clans here who are putting kinks into the machine. We would LIKE for participating clans in the upcoming Riot Act to have at LEAST one Clan Rep set so that they know what is coming this Sunday evening. We would LIKE for all invitations to be accepted or refused so that we can work with other clans as quickly as possible to get them an opportunity to participate. We would LIKE for all spots to be taken so that all clans can participate in a FULL tourney with a FULL set of opponents and a FULL TACMAP. Those whose INVITES are not yet LOCKED in the invite-pick-up section are HOLDING UP the process in one way or another, and we're asking that you please give this your IMMEDIATE attention in order for UF to make the necessary preparations for this weekend. Creating and implementing a TACMAP tourney is no small feat, not to toot our own horn or anything, and your simple cooperation makes that feat a LITTLE EASIER. BKNY SWFT +30 DOM PLEASE give those threads the attention that their instructions are asking for. You signed up for a tourney, the sign-up wasn't THAT long ago, and we invited you BASED on that application. We would like Riot Act to start without any (too many) snags. Thank you for reading. Those who signed up for the UF Riot Act! The first Clan Rep meeting is THIS SUNDAY! The following clans have NOT yet accepted their invite and/or have not yet submitted their ENTRY FEE into the tourney OR have not had all their appointed Clan Reps REPORT IN to the invite thread. REMEMBER, the initial Clan Rep meeting is THIS SUNDAY NIGHT, so your Clan Reps will need enough time to plan for this. As of right now, a little under HALF of the Clan Reps for this full tournament do not yet even have access to the Clan Rep Section. This is taken care of when your clan's entry fee is paid.
