Just wondering and have a question to ask. Do u find video games a sport or more like a hobby? There are some sports out there(cheerleading) that I don't personally think should be considered as a sport. -PiT0-

the warhawk servers are being reset tonite due to some "problems" people have been having with the game since its release. i think maybe the socom people should let the creators of warhawk know that they dont ever have to touch the servers, people will just keep playing anyways...hahahahahahahahahahaha

5 years ago today, SOCOM was released!! Happy birthday! I started playing that September - October of '02. I was only like 11 years old, and got super addicted! It doesn't feel like 5 years... Time flies when your having fun!

Socom 1 was release. Oh what a wonderful day it was! Also Map pack 1 was released exactly 14 months ago today.

As many of you have noticed I picked up another copy of Socom CA for my son. KillerV2.0 is his name and he is only 9 years old. It's kinda sad sometimes because he actually plays better than I do in some games. Do any of you guys have kids that play? One thing though, I DO NOT let him use the mic. Too many bungholes on this game that talk too much dung.

i was reading the post about "socom players with kids" and started to think of all the "younger" players in the game that rack up amazing numbers. that got me to thinking, is there an age where you just dont get any better? is there an age when your too old to start playing? i dont think your ever too old to play (refer to clan tag), but do you reach a point where you max out you ability?

thus far has been exciting and crazy and we're only a week into it. I cant imagine how intense it will get as the weeks roll on and the wars become even more insane with people throwing everything they have at everyone to stay alive. I'm glad I am able to play in this tourney and that I wish (if it didn't happen) that when Socom 2 was the big game in town these guys had been around to make that game this much better. Hey guys.. I know GRAW 2 looks really cool and stuff.. but if you love Socom.... dont get it.. its slow walking... i had for 360 after a week or 2 it gets dumb.. you want to play better games like socom lol... just so you guys dont waste money.. Rainbox Six is a great game.... GRAW 2 is just not worth buying when an amazing game like Warhawk is coming out very soon... ;D

I used to play this game like it was going out of style. I LOVE the game " RISK". I told my co-leader last night as we were looking at the tac-map and planning our picks, that it reminds me so much of the game of risk, with a elemental twist in that you get to actually do the battle instead of rolling a pair of dice. My exact words, were " Dude, I am getting more pumped every second that goes by I look at this map." I can hardly wait man. WAAHOOOOO!!! Socom is fun again!!

ok i have to ask something about the rules that is not listed in the rules...the thing is about the bomb and planting after every one is dead... every one that plays socom knows that some times when the bomb is planted after every one is dead it can make the planting team win 2 rounds insted of one.. and can make the game lag realy bad.. starting the next round 2 min's late...
